I have enjoyed living in the lakes for the past two years. I highly suggest anyone who lives in the complex to opt for an apartment with a view of the lake, walking path, waterfall, etc. Summers are great on the porch. I could not image enjoying my time at the lakes as much if i did not have the view.

Enjoy all the amenities and activities, The Lakes is right in the middle of everything, walking distance to country club, tennis, fitness, etc.

This apartment were different because it was not like a box. It showed that everything had its separate area and you could not see everything when you walked in.

We always recommend living here to family and friends. As a matter of fact, one of my friends recently moved across from us at the Northbridge. He acted on my recommendation and later thanked me for recommending this move. He recently called me just to let me know that he and his wife were in awe over the beauty of the lakes...the actual lakes contained within The Lakes Apartments. I explained to him that The Village was build on what used to be a golf course and the lakes were kept for their beauty.

I think my apt is a bit outdated for the size and amount of rent I am paying! Although, I am aware that apt rent has gone up considerably in the DFW area, I am somewhat pleased. Although I would advise them to make sure they did not rent on the first floor!!!

I would recommend this apartment because the property is well-kept, although some of the features need updating.

possibly recommend to someone who wants location and trees, and only top floor. No other reason to live here.

Location is great
