The community is great. Will move in this Saturday and wish everything be great.

It's a great deal. I like living here a lot so far. The apartment itself is very spacious and comfortable.

Apartments are not new but very well maintained. Management people are very nice. Landscaping is great. There is private security. Great location. Quiet. Parking space is not hard to get, even in late hours. I would say is a very good place to live for the money you spend.

Very nice property, although depending on your neighbors can make it very unpleasant.. I have very noisy neighbors that are very rude, they live on the floor above me and can be VERY NOISY, other than that I like living there. Parking is a beast, I really think we should have assigned parking, this is more a college area so sometimes they have sleep overs or parties and people don't respect that they are not residents and could care less about where they park and I really think management should do something about that or maybe give us some type of parking decal or something.

We like it here, and we feel we got one of the best apartments because there is a model below us and the parking is never full here. It's great to have maintenance show up promptly when something goes wrong, but I feel like they do quick-fixes, and simply refuse to fix anything major. The grounds are terrific, better than any other comparable apartment complex nearby.

Location, location, awesome environment. Great rates, killer maintenance, low electric rates, and park like setting.

Rolling hills, lake views and many trees invite you into the property. This cozy community was built on a golf course, and has a large lake winding through the property. The landscaping is gorgeous and the community touts three beautiful, relaxing pools as well as free membership to the country club. Large floor plans with updated finishes makes the community a very relaxing place to call home.

I love living at the Lakes in the Village. The amenities are great and the location is perfect. However, they are expensive (rent), I have asked for a covered parking spot of months (they NEVER got back to me after asking 4-5 times) and the utilities are not cheap. Overall great place to live if you have money to spend.

If you can get over the ancient interiors, paper-thin windows and parking, it's a great value. If Lincoln would invest a few dollars this place would be excellent. Need double pane, energy-efficient windows, updated cabinets and granite countertops, berber or better carpeting, new fixtures, and the bathroom needs a total overhaul. Considering moving to a newer property in the Village because I doubt this one will ever get upgrades.

This was clearly a well managed and expertly maintained community. Everything looked new and fresh. The landscaping was outstanding. It was a resort-like setting, and it included access to the country club. This was one of about nine communities in an apartment development.

it's an older apt building. can hear neighbors. management is responsive. rents go up by 10% a year!!!.

It is a great place to live. The landscaping is great. The noise level is too loud. I can hear the people that live above me ALL the time. I would recommend not living next to the stairs and living on the top floor.

The Lakes is a great place to live !!

The staff here are so helpful and kind!! I am from out of state and didn't know much about Dallas, but I talked to the manager here and she helped me find the perfect apartment for me!
