Wonderful place to live

The apartments are really nice. A number of people I know have moved saying that it is expensive to live here. I believe that you get a great value for the price. The amenities are great. Apartment living is like anything else you get back what you put into them. If you attend the events you meet new people and then you have more of a community experience when you participate.

The property is beautiful in as far as how well it is maintained, but it did not have a welcoming feel to me. It felt like a large expensive apartment community and everything was so close together. The apartments were very nice inside, but I left feeling indifferent.

My husband and I moved into the community yesterday. Brooke, the leasing manager, went above and beyond to make sure that we had an excellent move-in experience. The apartment that we had initially rented did not meet our needs, and Brooke graciously and quickly showed us a new apartment and got us approved for move in all in less than an hour. We are very impressed with her kindness and professionalism, and look forward to interacting with all of the staff at the community.

The Marquis at Silver Oaks has great apartments with lots of natural lighting. Ground floor apartments have bay windows. The bedrooms having ceiling fans. There is a newly sodded doggie park and has a lot of shade. The office staff is really nice. Brooke is awesome, super friendly, and has a great deal of information to offer about the surrounding area. The staff organize resident mixers, but not many residents attend. Grounds are well manicured. The maintenance staff is awesome! The response time to maintenance requests is outstanding!

Price relative to what you receive. Not all units have upgraded amenities.

I might have when we first moved in, but it seems like things are moving in a different direction. There is this arrogance that hey we are close to the airport and we are not asking $1900 a month so just be happy that you can live here.

Too many noise issues. I can hear the gentleman in the apartment above walking.

The constent rate increase when renewing the lease. It forces some residents out to a new apartment

rent a little high, not very much interaction among residents, but friendly staff, nice kept up look, and nice pools and basketball court.

My family has lived in the Marquis for over 5 years because its hard to move from a place that treats you with grace and respect. The staff has been unforgettable. We were always addressed by name. Ginger, Carol Ann, Brooke, and Allison we will miss you greatly. Lets not forget the maintenance staff, Isa is one of the best workers on the property. The whole staff is incredible. Before I could put our phone down when we called the office for any work to be done, a worker was knocking on my door taking care of the problem.

I've lived here for a year and have had very little to complain about. My apartment is very nice, community looks very nice, and staff and maintanance are great! The only complaint I've had is with inconsiderate residents, but you will get that anywhere. Definitely recommend to friends!
