Well maintained grounds. Love all the lights and dispays put up for Christmas. The Clubhouse is fantastic and the Village has so many events for the residents. Noise level is low even for being close to 75 and the DART rail. Apartments and other buildings well maintained. Maintenance does a fantastic job! I see myself renewing my lease here for as long as possible.

I have lived here for several years. It is a great location, and the staff are always trying to make it feel like a home. When my friends and I are deciding what to do for fun, we always check the calendar to see what's going on at the Village first.

This community is beautiful. You have a feeling of being safe living there. It was quiet but quite nice.

I recently moved to Dallas area and work downtown. The location cannot be beat. The appartments are well maintained as are the grounds. This is my first appartment after living in my own house for 29 years and I was concerned about the noise and having to deal with such close neighbors, but that has not been an issue at all. I certainly known I have close neighbors, but just normal coming and goings. Very pet friendly and I feel very comfortable walking my dog any time day or night.

The leasing professional was nice and very helpful. The community was nice and clean.

I did not see the community as being the nicest in The Village. However, they are clean, and the price is good. The agent was great, which is so important when leasing an apartment.

The Gate in the Village is a quiet and safe community, in a perfect location, at an affordable price. Everyone is friendly and you are always greeted with a smile. The complex is constantly being patrolled providing a safe environment. I recall having to call maintenance once because my door was jammed due to swelling because of heavy rains. It was passed midnight and I was alone. As soon as I reported it, they sent the village patrol to wait with me, for maintenance to arrive, so I wouldn't be alone. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone.

Overall I have really liked living here. I feel safe, and the location is great. The apartments are older though, and that comes with maintenance issues. I believe they are a little overpriced for the value as well.

Overall good complex with nice amenities including pools, tennis and a country club. Have lived in the Gate four different times since college. Have rented a 2 bedroom and efficiency and another one bedroom previously. Have lived in other communities in TX and CA and find that this complex and the Village in general offers residents alot in comparison with what other communities offer for the price.

The girl that I spoke to on the phone for the phone shop was excellent. She went beyond all expectations in trying to cover absolutely every single detail that she could regarding the apartment and the complex. She was so sweet, friendly, outgoing and professional. She mentioned everything on this questionnaire, even talking about the exceptional reputation of Lincoln Properties and giving me the website. She mentioned so many amenities within the complex such as the Olympic size pool, tennis courts, tennis pro shop, the restaurant, the wine tastings and book reading groups and all the activities at the clubhouse. She went over so much information I could almost not keep up. The agent that I actually met with and shopped was more mild mannered but was very nice, too. She talked about the Christmas lights that the complex is well known for and the fun truck food activity where a portion of the money goes to charity. I was impressed in all that they both discussed, and the phone agent really left nothing out. She did an exceptional job!
