Convenient, clean, a value for the $$, location

It's very nice. If you have a maintenance problem, they fix it in a timely manner. Everyone is great, and there are so many events to participate in.

Do not list exercise classes unless they are offered---and in the dark, cold, muddy outside is not suitable.
Very loud and rude neighbors from slamming doors( at all hours) to late night singing and conversations on a very regular bases especially from 1:30am to 4:30am; people that stomp the stairs and know items off my wall as well as knocking the cable out of the wall. All of this is after being asked very nicely to please stop.

The apartment is not up to par. It's livable but we've had many problems with the place. It seems as if the management teams motivation is to get your money. Once you've signed your lease they seem to care less if you're happy. I've put in several maintenance requests and some have been fixed, some have been ignored and some I've had to ask multiple times to get fixed. If the fee to move wasn't so expensive, I'd break my lease right now. Needless to say, I won't be renewing with The Gate.

I wonder if a sign can be placed somewhere outside to guide people who is looking for the Club House. Every day there is someone knocking on my door and ringing the bell asking for their UPS package. They think the apartment I rent is the Club House. Thank you.

There are so many activities here at the Gate and in The Village, you never get bored. At this time of year, the Christmas lights are stunning. You are close to the DART train and I75 and Greenville Ave, but yet it's peaceful at the same time. Shopping and dining are just a few minutes from here.

Nice place.Make you feel @ home

The Gate is certainly not the cheapest apartment complex you'll find in the area, but if you can afford it, this is the place to live. The staff is always very personable and friendly, the community is very well maintained, and all of my maintenance requests have been addressed within 24 hours. The apartments are a little dated (older appliances, little kitchen space, etc.), but well taken care of.

This is an active and close knit community. The neighborhood is comfortable and is in walking distance of just about all of your shopping and dining needs.

This is a great place to live! The property is beautiful, the community is great, and the staff is fantastic! I love making The Gate my home!

It is a relaxing, quiet community. There are large mature trees and nice open green areas providing plenty of space. The apartments on the first floor feature extremely large patios with plenty of space for plants or outdoor furniture. The community comes with all the privileges to the Village Country Club, which is just across the street. It is one of the communities closest to the country club.

Management is terrible

The most likeable part of the community was the clubhouse. The idea of social activity was nice. I liked the idea that it came with a weight room.

I have found the complex, The Gate, to meet my expectations. Yes it is not the most" modern", therefore it does carry the price to go with the newest. A good value overall. The location is great to most activities that one may require or enjoy.
