Great Pool monitors!!!!

I have recommended this complex in the past and I will continue to do so. It is conveniently located to Ballantyne, rent prices are reasonable for what you get, maintenance is great, the office staff is nice, the area is a nice place to live with restaurants, stores, movie theaters, and so on. You guys really make an effort to make this a community, which I like. I don't participate in the social events and whatnot but I do appreciate the effort and I'm sure it's good for those who do participate. And the little stuff really makes a difference, like getting a card from the office on your birthday. It's just a nice place to live outside of the occasional annoying neighbor (and you could have an annoying neighbor anywhere).

Its clean...Grounds are well taken care of...office personal and maintenance take pride in this community..

Some buildings without pets. A noise ordinance that is enforced.
Pet owners not allowing the pets to use the bathroom outside without cleaning after their pets.

My experience at Marquis has been very good and as such I would certainly recommend it to friends looking to live in this part of Charlotte.

Quiet, safe neighborhood

I have mentioned this before, but while I like my apartment for the most part, the noise level seems to be increasing. I just wish the apartments were better insulated. I can hear many things my upstairs neighbor does, and unfortunately she is often up quite late, when I am trying to sleep. Also, new neighbors have moved into my building and they literally run every time they go up and down the stairs. This results in a very loud stomping sound, which occurs several times per day/evening. While these things are annoying, I know not much can be done.

The community was quite dated and needs to be updated. Leasing office seemed more like a sport bar than an actual office.

This was a older community, but very well kept. It had some upgrades, for example the stainless steel appliances. It had the normal apartment feel. I could see that it was being updated by the business center.

I would recommend but the rent cost will take a lot of people out of the discussion

The leasing agent's professionalism and kindness made me very interested in the community.

The apartment was quite and free from trash. The community well maintained. The community pool and courtyard was beautiful and well maintained.

It is a very nice and friendly place to live.

I thought the community was very nice. The pool and fitness areas were excellent and I could not believe they had a car wash. I thought it was neat that the sister site across the street shared amenities with the community. The grounds were beautifully kept as well. Everything was very nice.
