The Marquis of Carmel Valley is a beautiful property located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful tall trees and superior landscaping. The leasing office was very upscale the decor was magnificent and the level of service offered by the leasing consultant was astounding! The two bedroom apartments have many varieties to their floor plans. My favorite floor plan is the Emerald, very quaint, perfect size, large bedrooms and amazing closet space. The apartment features are well worth the asking price and the amenities are spectacular.

Pricey, fake office workers who pretend there aren't problems when there are.

Bugs and spiders have remained an issue at my front door and patio even after being sprayed.

Was not pleased with the increase in rent last year.

I would recommend on the maintenance and staff 100%. The CARES Team is great. I think the apartment size meets my needs. The only reason that I would not is because of the current prices monthly. It is more affordable to buy a home at the moment.

This was a decent community. The apartments were nice, average. It seemed like a nice area to live.

Rental rates based on upgrades and others available are too high

The rent is raised every year a great amount. I've spoken with other tenants and their rates have went out dramatically. A few people I have known moved out due to the rent increases.

If I were to recommend this community it would be slightly unlikely because of the price. When I tell people what I pay monthly for rent everyone is shocked and feels that it is to pricy

It's such a nice, quiet area with friendly people and respect for renters

I would recommend this complex because it is clean, pools are open from a long portion of the year, love my neighbors and the porch size is excellent.

I have recommended this place before and looked here based on the recommendation of 2 people that live here and at Carmel Commons. Everyone is very friendly. The only negatives have been the lack of washer/dryer (which I was aware of upon move-in), the disposals that had led to a lot of fruit flies despite fumigating and keeping the place/disposal clean, and the location. The location would really be the only reason I would look elsewhere when my lease is up and that is just due to where I work and am most of the day. Everything else has been great and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Their budget would have to align with annually increase. They would have to know the expectations to that.
