The location is convenient, but I would be honest with my experiences. As of right now they are not very favorable. For the most part I am the ideal resident because the office rarely hears from me and yet they get my rent each month.

I thought the appliances and cabinets were very outdated in comparison to other properties in the area and not reasonable for the prices. I liked the scenic areas and walking trails throughout the community. They made it feel very secluded and made me forget we were on such a busy street.

I would only recommend the apartments with the upgraded wood floors, simulated granite counter tops, wood blinds, etc. The carpet is way too old int the other apartments.

I really like living here. I am disappointed some things that were here are no longer here i.e housekeeping etc, soda machine etc. I may not have utilized these things but it was nice to know they were available. Also, the housekeeping is what made this a selling feature for me and what I used to brag to others about.

The complex is in a great location and the surroundings are pleasant.
With all the updates being done this complex will be, in my opinion, one of the best.

I have lived here for 6 years, in 2 different units and have loved it. I'm only moving to buy a home with more property out of town. Staff is always friendly and maintenance is prompt. The grassy areas have declined in the last few years but I think that is more a lack of rain than lack of effort by the apartments. They are more expensive than some other apartments on the north side, but in my opinion, location and safety is worth it. I've never seen the gates broken long (always fixed, or worked on the next business day), the gate code has been changed several times since I've been here, the outdoors are lit at night and I feel perfectly comfortable walking my dogs even late at night. I think the alarms are effective, even if not signed up for monitoring because they are loud and get the attention if set off accidentally (or by an intruder). Neighbors are friendly, social and attentive. You can often find groups of 3-5 neighbors talking in the yard while their dogs run around and play. Parking is also good, I've only had to park out of sight from my apartment when I have come home late (like after 1 or 2am). There are some drawbacks to apartment living, but those things are not specific to Marquis @ Deerfield and residents should know that walking in.

The price is ok but they don't offer too much amenities wise. I liked the trees around the property. The location was a nice area as well.

This property is modern, clean and pleasant both inside and out. The grounds make a person confident that maintenance is not lazy. The layout of the apartments is excellent, and the rooms are of generous size. The safety measures are excellent, especially the fact that there are intrusion alarms, smoke alarms and sprinklers.

I would recommend property based on caliber of residents. Most are working professionals or older more mature residents. Property is small and quiet.
I would not recommend property to someone who prefers up-to-date units. Many people I know want wooden floors, granite counter tops, tile in bathrooms, modern cabinets and lighting fixtures.

If they are looking for a short stay- it's been safe.
Overtime it has declined in value for what I am paying.

I have complimented on the property many times to people and recommended it in case someone was looking.

It is pretty, comfortable and cozy in this apt, but it is an older property and outdated. I have had multiple problems with the HVAC system. I have had the air ducts cleaned twice at my own expense and still have air quality problems. The carpet is poor quality.

I tell everyone how much I love this place and have recommended to many. The units are well built and most importantly, well managed and maintained. The location is also a plus.
