I like this apartment complex even though the apartments are small for the rent amount. I still recommend for people looking for nice place to live.

The people I have known who left The Dakota were all due to rent increases. This is the main reason I would not recommend this property.

I feel safe here and the clientele that lives here is nice.

We have loved living here! A fantastic experience, I would recommend to everyone. The only thing is the need for thicker walls/more insulation, you can hear everything in the bedroom and bathroom about what s going on at the neighbors :/ But other than that, an absolutely wonderful living neighborhood and staff!!!

I felt very warm and welcomed at the community. By the end of my visit, I felt knowledgeable about the community and would have been confident in calling it my home.

good place to live, but kind of expensive

I love living at The Dakota! There are few annoyances such as stomping upstairs neighbors, and I occasionally hear folks outside when they are talking too loudly however those minor issues are outweighed by the benefits of the great quality of the physical apartment, the timeliness of maintenance, and the helpful office staff. Those three things are fantastic beyond comparison to the bad quality, awful maintenance and terrible office staff I encountered at the last apartment complex I lived in prior to The Dakota! I ve already recommended The Dakota to several friends and coworkers and plan to continue to make the recommendation in the future.

I like living at The Dakota however, i do wish they would upgrade the interior for how much they charge in rent and i do also they would do something to create additional parking.

The Dakota is a great place, great location, safe, quiet, nice apartments and beautiful amenities: from the small but well equipped gym, the pools (yes there are 2) to the functional kitchen appliances. Common areas are usually clean and well maintained. Well, lately poor maintenance to keep stairs, aisles and fans clean, you can see lots of dust and some spider webs. Also as a downside the trash collection is quite expensive and if your neighbors don’t care about trash you might see bags or trash bins outside the apartments all day, all days – quite disgusting for the view and the smell. Honestly I don’t see any value for the expensive trash collection and people leaving their trash all time outside their doors, it looks really horrible.

Besides these last points, in general this is a great place to live in Dallas, I do recommend it

Very enjoyable. Love the community and area. Pool and hot tub are great in summer and winter.

Nice area, clean

It's in a prime location in Dallas, close to everything and there is so much to do within the community and around the Village.

The on-site amenities were quite nice. With The Country Club membership, it was a nice value. The community was clean and wonderfully maintained. It was conveniently located near some of the finest in shopping and dining. The leasing professional was really nice and eager to help me find an apartment.

Tenants need to clean after their dogs. The yard is always gross !!! Even though there is stations with doggie waste bags and a garbage can the tenants don t care. The complex needs to reinforce the rules as I see many dogs unleashed and owners walking away from the poop.
