The apt. complex is keep up very well, and very friendly staff.

If I could give a zero or negative review I would. I lived in this complex for many years, and there were constant problems after the first year. The management changes every few months, and the quality of the appliances, carpet and other materials is awful. To add insult to injury, when you move out they will charge you for everything, including the carpet (no matter how clean you keep it and even when you get it steam cleaned before leaving). Expect to tack on an additional month's rent at the end (on top of the deposit) for the "issues" they will find. I was very close with many of my neighbors, and every single one of them had an experience like this when they moved out. Beware of this complex!

I would highly recommend this place, as it's in a good location, but still quiet and safe. A great place for young professionals to live in.

The community was attractive, competitively priced for the area and had exceptional amenities for its price. The leasing agent showed me an apartment that was a very good match for my stated needs and presented the amenities as a cut above anything else I would find in the area.

This seems to be a unique community that offers a Country Club membership to residents in all of its properties. There are several properties that make up the community, each with their own amenities in addition to what the Country Club offers. The location is very centrally located and is very convenient to uptown, downtown, the mall, dining, shopping and major freeways. This seems to be a good value for the price.

Can't beat the location. Easy access to anywhere within the Dallas city limit. Well maintained facility and club house.

I've been living here for 6 months and am renewing for another 10 months. It's definitely a peaceful neighborhood and the apartments seem pretty modern and up-kept.

I'd recommend living here.

Great location and good sized apartments. Value for money.

We moved from a 3800 sq. ft. home and are very comfortable here. We especially enjoy not having to deal with maintenance ourselves. We complete a maintenance report online and it is usually taken care of the next day.

We pay an extra 100 month for the garage because we were worried about parking for 2 cars being available near our unit every time we needed it - and we are used to a garage. We are very pleased we made that decision. Had we not done that - that would probably have been our only complaint. We rarely hear any neighbors. The grounds are well kept. The pool, work out room, and hot tub are very nice. You can even cook out at the grill by the pool if you choose. The staff is very pleasant.

The only reason we are considering even looking elsewhere next year is to determine if we could find a similar location and quality for less cost -- as we are saving up for retirement

The leasing agent was pleasant and thorough. The apartment was amazing and the community had a lot to offer.

I have been in this apartment over over a year. Thus, I have been here long enough to notice all the little tiny things. The AC is loud, so loud that its hard to hear the TV over it when it kicks on. The filters used filter out nearly nothing and because they are a weird size I cant buy my own to replace them. The apartments are starting to fall apart in tiny ways. The floor is chipping, the drywall is weak, and pest control has been a problem lately. Parking is not ample. Pests have been a problem as of late.

Overall, its still better than a lot of places in Dallas but I am not as in love with it as I once was.

It's very quiet, nice ammenities.

Only downside which is now FIXED, thank you was a non-stop barking dog. Smith services told me they had dozens of complaints.

I have been very happy with The Dakota - the staff is so helpful.
