I was really impressed with the leasing professional and how she handled herself because she was very busy and had no help. She keep going back and forth with a smile to make sure that all the people she was helping were okay. When more people came into the office, she found time to acknowledge them. She made time for me even though she was extremely busy helping others. She stayed friendly and did not miss a beat.

Would not recommend for the more "party centric" among us. It's a pretty quiet place and while I enjoy that, not everyone does.

I love living in the middle of everything

The location, the quality of the units, and the price would lead me to recommend the Marquis.

As long as the rent stays at it's current levels.

As a real customer, I was very impressed with the staff and up keep of the community. It had a lot of value and had a lot to offer the community.

I recommend these apartments to everyone who asks, and have had two friends move in here in the last year. Another one would have, but he missed some deadline or other to do so.

It's a good community with a great location and the city noise isn't bad if you live in an interior apartment. However, the current market rate and the noise from DART trains squeaking around the corner are detractions.

Good location. Rent is a little high for outdated interior, in comparison with other properties nearby.

Do not follow their guidelines and do not care about health of community.

I like the location and I've only had 2 issues while living here - the first was when I first signed my lease before I even moved in and the second was a billing issue. Both were resolved. The maintenance staff are excellent. They are very responsive. It's relatively quiet; I haven't had any problems with neighbors. Parking is easily accessible and available. Visitor parking is always available. Amanda (in the leasing office) is very helpful and provides great service. A negative aspect is that the gates are broken approximately 60% of the time. I also had to buy a google phone number that is a local Dallas number in order to be able to let visitors through the gate.

Overall, the community is not updated enough. Few apartments have wood flooring, wood blinds, metal appliances. For the rents you want to charge now - you can really pay another 50-100 a month and live closer to uptown with newer amenities etc.

It's a great location to walk around town. The second floor apartments do not seem to have much barrier at all between the first and second floors. The people above me sound like monsters (although I don't believe she is). But when I can hear someone walking around upstairs... that's an issue.

It is one of the finest apartment communities I have seen in the Downtown/Uptown area of Dallas. Located in the Baylor district, it stands tall and is immediate eye candy when looking for an apartment. The leasing office looks like the living room worthy of a mansion. The agents are friendly, personable and caring, the community has a sense of family and residents seem to love living there. Based on the curb appeal, the apartment layouts and amenities, the leasing staff, and the neighborhood, I would love calling the community home.
