Average - High rent for what you get

It's ok, close to everything. While they accept dogs, they don't have designated areas for them. Try new construction.. same pricing with dog parks. If you're handicapped you won't find a place to park. While there is signage, there is no enforcement of the law. So it's really just for the entitled who don't want to pay for a spot.
We do not have any designated areas for dogs, but we have plenty of dog pet stations throughout the community and we are very close to White Rock Lake which has a wonderful new doggie park. If someone is parked in a handicap spot that should not be please call SMITH patrol at (214) 631-4444 and they will come out and tag the car. I would be help further, please give me a call at the leasing office. -Jamie

Great apartments but the management isn't great

The apartment is wonderful We absolutely love it. Parking is tough to find unless you want to pay an extra 35 month to get covered. Sometimes we have to park really far away from our apartment which can suck. The worst part of living here is the management. Every month that we have lived here they have messed up our rent and now we have to pay extra because they accidentally didn't charge us for utilities in the last few months. It has been very frustrating to deal with. The neighborhood is quiet and I have never felt unsafe. Great amenities in the area, however you have to pay to use the tennis courts. Overall good location and apartments, just a little pricey and with some hiccups in management.

Overall its ok

Parking is horrible worse than uptown , people take up multiple parking spaces, something needs to be done about this. Grills by the pool need to be cleaned more frequently. The staff and maintenance are excellent to work with.
We understand parking can be pretty congested and we completely understand your frustrations. If someone is double parked taking up multiple spaces please call SMITH @ (214) 631-4444 and they will be able to tag the vehicle. The summer has kept the pool busy and the grills in use, but we will make sure the grills are sparkling. Thank you for the compliment on the maintenance and staff. Affordable yet nice

Its so great to live in a place that is centrally located in Dallas, totally affordable for a young professional, has activities almost every day, and is a quality place to live I would recommend the Village, specifically Northbridge, to just about everyone I've met my best friends in Dallas through Northbridge activities or through my neighbors i my complex

One Year Review

I have a carport but it's 2 carport units down from my actual apartment. The initial leasing agent said she'd move me if one ever became available closer but we've been here a year and I'm still walking in the dark late at night to get to my apt. Not very safe. The walls are thin and we can hear the people in the next apt bldg over throwing parties and screaming from time to time, as well as the people stomping around that live upstairs. The fixtures we have are pretty lack luster for the price we pay to live in Northbridge. Basic oven, microwave and dishwaser isn't worth the amount of rent we pay. They work, they just aren't great quality. The bathtub looked dingy when we moved in, but now it looks worse - should be refinished. Overall, the layout is nice and the location is superb, which is why we renewed this lease for one more year.

I do not like dogs swimming in the pools.

It is frustrating that residents allow their dogs to swim in the human swimming pools. It has been brought to the office staff's attention as well as security's attention and yet it still continues. Isn't that a violation of a health code

I will not renew my lease for this reason, unfortunately.

Great

The apartments are affordable and are not too old when compared to other pricy apartments. Its close to my work which is a plus. I like the fact that I cannot hear my neighbors thick walls , which means I can watch TV or play music without getting any noise complaints.

Northbridge in the Village

It's noisy, from my apartment you can hear the traffic of Northwest Highway, anyone walking by outside my door and my neighbors. It is a gated community but the gate is slow, so other cars can slip in and it breaks. Finally, the outside lights are very bright at night, great for security I imagine, but bad for sleeping, especially since there is a light mounted in between my living room and bedroom windows. Wish I would have checked out the property at night to see what I was getting into.

No parking

Unless you are home by 6pm you will not find a parking spot. For the amount of rent I am paying to live in a gated community, I should always be able to find a parking spot inside the gate. I even asked about a reserved spot, but there are none available.

Thin walls and floors.- loud

Nice apartments. Has well kept grounds. Complex is too intrusive. They find a reason to be in your apartment much too often while you are not home. Open area within the buildings near mail areas are dirty, stained floors. with garbage juice and papers You can hear every single step you neughbor upstais makes and is very loud and annoying. Thin floors and ceilings Live on the third floor if you choose to live here. Otherwise very nice
