Not sure about the monthly rates in this complex versus monthly rates in other apartment complexes.

For all of the reasons I rated every other question lower. I had a much better experience at The Village apartments in Dallas even though I didn't like the prices or configuration there. But if I wasn't looking for a house, I'd consider going back.

The place is good for a short stay for people working or going to college in the nearby areas. Otherwise the rent is slightly on the higher side for the square footage of the apartment and the amenities offered.

The apartment is dingy and doesn’t look like the pictures on line. My appliances are old. The bathroom is old with chipping paint and unattractive fixtures. There is garbage outside my door from my neighbor who also uses a car port spot they do not pay for and there is no enforcement of community standards.

Not that much to offer for people my age(55+)group. The few activities that are planned are more so for families with children and young adults. Also difficult to get acquainted with other residents and neighbors; sometimes there is a language barrier or they are short term residents.

We are experiencing very poor standards of living at Marquis. We continue to have problems with bugs. The repairs are never done properly, and we have to make several requests for repairs. The master bathroom continues to smell foul and the poor ventilation only makes the situation worse. The HAVC unit next door is so noisy that we can never have a restful stay at home. The stove is very old and poorly functioning, which makes cooking extremely unenjoyable. Overall, we can't wait until our lease ends in March.

The community was well kept and the amenities were adequate. The complimentary car wash and tennis courts were a plus. For the green-fingered customers, the garden was a novel idea. The apartments smelled great and were well presented. The common areas were all clean and pleasing to the eye. The gym was large and well stocked. The staff were friendly, welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable.

Yes, I would recommend. But the lease break policy is not friendly. Its not just living in apartment but the agreements need to be user friendly. I have some future plans and I am thinking multiple times do I need to renew the apartment or move to a different place as my lease is going to expire in three months.

The leasing professional was very pleasant to work with during my visit. I felt I was being offered a fair value for the money. There were more amenities in the community than I expected such as the on-site coin laundry and car wash, which were both added bonuses.
