Prior to new managment, I recommended a colleague of mine to live here- she does now. I now actively tell indiviuals to not move into the Marquis Lofts due to the many unfortunate circumstances I have experienced over the past couple of months. I do not feel confident this will change.

I truly loved touring this community. Everything was picture perfect and ideal. The customer service was excellent and I definitely would not change anything when it came to that. I would not even hesitate or think twice about referring anyone here. This place was awesome.

First off let me say I have lived at Sabine Lofts for many, many years. Having gone through several management changes I have to admit I wasn't thrilled when I heard the property had been sold and there would be new management--again. BUT, this has been the first time it's been a great experience. Victoria and Jay are so professional, kind, and personable. I had my heart set on moving out, moving on, but after speaking with Victoria and getting to know their plans for the property, there is no way I could leave. You can tell the office staff (Victoria and Jay) really care about the residents and their needs.

I highly recommend to anyone who has left a so-so review, to go in to the office and just talk to them. They want to hear from everyone and are always encouring feedback. What's not to like about that?

I am going on 2 years at sabine and have seen several staff and management changes. By far this is the best staff that tries to quickly accomodate and take care of the needs of residents while making it a great place to live. They have regular resident gatherings and always wecome you in the office. The property speaks for itself.

On the "Delta" side: It's the "small" things that have dropped off: Management company appears inflexible; initial indication is that the focus is on reducing operating expenses. Verdict still out on whether the change to Marquis is positive or negative (to date, the residents haven't seen anything that indicates any change to the positive). On the positive side - the facility is nice; people are pleasant.

+: Location, staff
-: Old unshaven man who dresses like he's homeless but monopolizes the TV room preventing use of the business center and/or enjoying the view from the common area.

I had really bad roach problems for most of the first half of my yearly lease. They were never able to resolve it, and it was really disgusting. I think that the new management is much more concerned with ensuring that the residents are receiving the premium living experience they are paying for...
So I would recommend the apartments. The location is great and the property is very pretty.

Unless the maintenance staff and other residents do a better job of ensuring the community is clean I wouldn't advise anyone to move here.

being tied to AT&T service is terrible.

Most of my friends would not value the benefit of living downtown as highly as I do.

Location is great. The interior seems to be getting rundown.

Pluses: Great location, attractive floor plans, patio area & pools
Minuses: Inadequate attention to quality of life life issues such as broken gates that slam shut, absence of recycling, malfunctioning access doors from the garage.

Overall, I've enjoyed living at Sabine.
