Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

This was an affordable apartment with great amenities for an apartment home.

The leasing agent was so professional and courteous during my visit. She was helpful in determining what needs I was looking for, as well as pointing out the benefits of living there. I stated that I was moving from out of state and she was very comfortable telling me about the neighborhood and the community, to make sure that I felt at home.

I felt that the leasing agent was sincerely interested in my opinion of the property and the the features. She shared easily and openly, and her enthusiasm and professionalism were very evident, in her voice, words, and manners. The property was well cared for and very nicely presented.

AF Stalnaker's Review

The Meadow is an excellent property to rent a 1 bedroom or two bedroom apartment. The grounds are kept very neatly and are beautifully landscaped. It is very quiet and peaceful living here. Neighbors are friendly and often introduce themselves when they notice a new tenant moving in. Having living in 2 other properties within the Village besides the Meadow, I rate the Meadow a 10 for the upkeep and neatness of every apartment unit.

Based on my experience at the community, I would consider leasing at this community because the leasing professional created a great visual of the one bedroom that I expressed interest in.

This was a small community centrally located in the city. The greenbelt just beyond the leasing office was quite beautiful with lovely trails and ponds. The large community country club was just beyond the green space. This was a beautifully updated community that was conveniently located to many neighborhood amenities.

The Meadow

The Meadow has great amenities and is located on the walking trails encircling the ponds and lakes of the Village. Just walking distance from the Village Country Club, the Meadow does not disappoint. The in apartment amenities are amazing deals for the money and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Great apt complex

The meadow is a safe neighborhood that provides access to fitness via gym.

The property was very nice and seemed to be very well maintained. The leasing agent was great and did a great job in making me feel at home.

Slowly Going Down Hill

First moved to the Meadow 5 yrs ago, loved it, use to be proud to live here and tell everyone it was great...BUT THINGS CHANGED...use to be landscapers working constantly, fast maintenance, PEST CONTROL, beautiful Christmas Lights, security on every block patrolling 30 minuet rounds, friendly staff and neighbors that knew each others name, Now it is totally opposite. Feels like the village raised rents and lowered the quality that people got for its money. What happened to all the security patrolling? Im lucky to see one a night. Where have all the landscapers gone? didn't we use to have pest-control, no wonder i see roaches and even a field mouse/ rat on my porch. I believe that all the good neighbors left because of this and now we have below average neighbors looking for a below average apartment complex.

The location of the community is centrally located to everything. It seems like an exceptional place to live. It provides the perfect community for anyone that would enjoy a luxurious, comfortable, convenient and scenic lifestyle. The apartments were spacious with modern upgraded features and the amenities were attractive. My impression of the staff was they were helpful, informative, knowledgeable and friendly.

Tenant of Apt 803

If I had known about the Meadow, I would have moved in long ago when I first moved to the Village in 1994. The Meadow is a real gem with such friendly management and maintenance crew. I find it quiet, peaceful and a lovely place to live and hope to stay here for a long time.

Maybe not as clean in the walkways as it once was but overall well maintained.

Great Value at the Right Price

This apartment has exceeded my expectations. The price I pay for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in the heart of Dallas is amazing! The community itself is centrally located with many great businesses in the area! It's a really big plus to drive 5 minutes to either whole foods or central market. It's close to a major expressway, 75, and a highway, Northwest Highway. The apartment itself is well maintained. It is not the most modern complex, but it's very presentable. The maintenance service I have received is outstanding. They do a great job of responding to requests before the day is over. They make it a priority! I'd highly recommend this complex to anyone!

Look No Further

I was fortunate to find the Meadow when I came across another such apartment complex that comprise the Village community. Having had a previous bad experience with another apartment property, I came to the Meadows a bit apprehensive and concerned, but after only a little while, I realized that the Meadow is a fantastic community to live in. Here's why (in no ranking order): 1) Location- 3 minutes for the 75 freeway, close to Tom Thumb, Central Market, Northpark Mall, and a slew of good restaurants and stores. For a majority of things one may need, you don't have to travel far for them. 2) Landscape- The Village as well as Meadows take time to make the area beautiful-- flowers, manicured lawns, and many tall trees make the Meadow a scenic place to live. 3) Safety- The Village has its own patrol (Smith patrol) and they are available to you 24/7 for any safety issues you might have. I've seen them in cars, segway, and horseback. I have never had to use them personally, but I consider that a good thing. Also the apartments are well lit outside and on a timer. 4) Parking- Never have to park far from my apartment. Friends and family are welcome to park anywhere that is not covered (not a gated community). I used to be weary about non-gated communities, but it's not necessary here with Village Patrol. 5) Village Country Club-- Free to Village residents, this place has a lot going for it. Tennis courts, gym, restaurant, swimming pools, and other goodies. They host many community events like intramurals, movies, and other get together as an opportunity for village members to get to know each other (the Village is composed of several apartment complexes, the Meadow being one of them). A magazine called Village goes out monthly with what's happening in the community and scheduled events for that month. 6) Lakes-- two lakes surrounding by beautiful natural scenery-- trees, grass, ducks swimming in the lake, large colorful fish in the water, and squirrels out and about. There's a trail that goes through and it's nice to take a walk or run. 7) Swimming pool-- Meadows recently upgraded the pool area and it's always clean. Sometimes it's closed for maintenance. 8) Quiet- I haven't had problems with loud neighbors, and everyone seems very friendly. 9) Office management-- I don't have too much experience with them since I've only ever had to visit their office a couple of times (to move in and renew lease), but in those two times they were competent and helpful. 10) Apartment maintenance-- I only had to use them once. I could do it online and they completed the task quickly and correctly. 11) Website-- Village has a nice online presence to learn more about the community and what's available as well as to pay rent, which I do online. 12) Price-- the cost of rent differs among the apartment complexes at the Village. The Meadow offered an affordable price with all the great amenities. I feel I got a great deal living here. Furthermore, I have not experienced a price increase.
