Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

I believe the property was reasonably priced, clean and well maintained for what I saw.

Maintenance is very poor and worst

I will not recommend anyone because Maintenance is very poor and worst.

1) I requested carpet cleaning on lease renewal. Staff did carpet cleaning. I had to move everything out on carpet cleaning day. After carpet soaked I did vacuum clean. My vacuum cleaner is new and clean. It occupied at least a half kg dust. I did vacuum twice but still carpet lot of dust comes out of carpet. Moreover carpet is itching after carpet cleaning day. Before it was not.
2) Carpet color is very dull.
3) Door handles, water tabs, bath tub, toilet commode is of poor quality.
4) Entrance door frame’s metal has sharp edged cut. I raised maintenance request twice but it has not fixed.
5) Toilet water storage’s parts and shower has corrosion. I requested replacement but it has not fixed.
6) Air leakage from bathroom toilet causes smell in bedroom and living room.
7) I requested to apply touch-up color at some places and staff refused to do so.
Overall everything is of poor quality. I made a mistake deciding to stay here.

The Corners needs upgrades drastically.

The Corners can charge you whatever they want because they have a great location. The fact that their apartments are old isn't the problem. The problem is that the insides of the apartments are very very outdated. The quality in plumbing is poor and the paint used indoors is very cheap. The indoor hardware does not match...for instance I have gold doorknobs and silver light fixtures. My dishwasher is from 1979. I don't have a problem with the size of the kitchen but I believe for a kitchen this small there should be nicer cabinets than the particle board I currently have that has been painted over and over. AND it just seems to be cheaper to me for The Corners to invest in having laminate flooring throughout the apartment instead of carpet. Carpet is absolutely nasty and I refuse to walk barefoot on it. I keep my apartment clean but it's falling apart. If I wipe the walls for any reason.....the paint comes right off. There were prior stains on my carpet that I did not notice immediately after I moved in but now I see them immediately the minute dust hits the carpet. There are actual pieces of ceramic chipping off of my bathroom sink.

Lot's of things to do

It is a nice community and would reccomend them. My one consistant complaint is maintenence does not fix things properly. I have been there since March of this year and I am still complaining about things that are not fixed.

The leasing agent was a wonderful person. He did address my needs. However, I felt that the property was dated. I just could not get past that.

Corners in the Village Review

Safety, privacy, quality of grounds and facilities are outstanding.

Great Safe Quiet Community

The title says it all, the grounds are very well kept, and the apartments are too. The security and peacefulness of the apartments are bar none the best I have ever had, and there are plenty of activities and things to do at the village!

My Experience with The Corners

Basically a nice place to stay.

location

Best place to live in terms of location.... shopping centers and food all around.

Great Quality and Easy Online Management

This is a great place to live. The staff are honest and courteous, and if you do have a maintenance request or need to pay your bills, you can do so easily on-line for no fee. The private police are also great to have, as they help keep you safe. Very good quality for the price.

The community offered many great features. I would likely recommend to others.

Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

This apartment community was nice and quiet, but very old. The amenities were not great and the appliances in the apartment looked old as well. The ceilings were not very high either. It was a decent property, but did not offer much.

Great place but parking is annoying

Great place to live, nice extras, parking can be annoying

Nice, well maintained property.

I have no complaints except, if you are a long time resident, it seems Lincoln Property almost looks at that as a negative instead of a postive.
It seems there should be some appreciation toward long terms residents with no rental issues. Imstead, when the rent goes up, you have to call and say "this does not seem right, to have an increase of almost $100.00 and I have lived here 6+ years". They they come back, thankfully, and say, well it will be $25.00. If one does not ask and make an issue, one does not get the "earned" concession. You should not have to call and ask for consideration, it should be automatic as a part of LPC's philosophy of taking care of loyal residents. Also... along with the increase in rent, there have been no upgrades made to the apartment??.....just seems a littel one - sided. Lincoln Property has nice properties - the management though, could use a course in "Customer Appreciation".

Decent for the price to location ratio, but not as good as I had hoped.

Could be better, could be worse.
