Favorite Apartment Ever
I searched for six months for a new place to live after my office moved downtown, and I am so glad of my choice! The price is great, the location is awesome, and the downtown views are amazing! I love my floorplan and how "homey" it feels. This may be the first time ever that I've renewed a lease.

Only one parking spot per apt, sub par exercise room

Thank you for sharing your comments with us and others. I appreciate your honest feedback. I just would like to address our parking and our fitness center for you.
Admittedly, parking is precious at Marquis at Texas Street. Yes, there is only one reserved spot per apartment home. However, the great news is that it is a free reserved parking space. I really like that every resident of Marquis at Texas Street receives one free parking spot. What a money saver for our residents!
Regarding our fitness center, all I can say is get ready for a positive change to enhance your health and happiness. I believe that you will love it!

Great location, ammenities but has it's challenges
Pro: I thoroughly enjoy that fact that I live in the middle of Deep Ellum and Uptown. The access to everything is wonderful! The price is ok too. Love the trash valet and the fact the parking garage goes up to the floor you live on. YES!!!! Cons: The front office is bad about returning phone calls or just answering the phone. I feel like I have to call all day just to get someone to pick up the phone. Also, having the darndest time with noisy neighbors. Don't want to move because I love my apt too much to not enjoy being at home bc the neighbor is either loud or walks too heavy...all...nite...long until they go to sleep.

I agree that this is a wonderful community nestled right around everything to do or to access a major thoroughfare to get somewhere else in Dallas pretty quickly. Thank you for recognizing our free valet trash pickup service for our residents. It makes lives so much easier than having to walk to some random dumpster like at other communities. I do hope that you are also participating in our recycling program that is currently absolutely free to our resident so we can get people to go green.
Now regarding your cons, I can sympathize with you about hearing your neighbor above you. Marquis at Texas Street is pretty sound. However, we are pier and beam construction and that does allow some sounds such as heavy walking to transfer. Now, I can tell you I have lived at many apartment communities and I have always heard my neighbor above me, except when I lived on the top floor. Your other con was trying to contact the office and not getting to reach anyone at a certain point in time. Please believe me when I say that we do our absolute best to answer every call that we can when we are not assisting another caller, future resident or resident that is in the office. Please leave us a message and we will be certain to return your call before the end of the day, if not sooner. I sincerely apologize if we failed to do so for you in the past.
Over all, neighbor, I gather that you are happy with making Marquis at Texas Street your home and I hope you continue to do so.

This is a remarkable community. I loved the layout of the apartments. The amenities were very nice and wonderfully decorated especially the media room.

I would recommend this apartment complex however the front office can be a challenge to get in touch with most of the time.

JUST GREAT
This is a great place to live. The maintenance staff is very friendly and they take care of maintenance issues promptly. The manager Matt is super awesome as well as the rest of the staff. I have lived on the property for a few years now. Each apartment has great features and amenities. Management is constantly looking to make improvements. Thanks for knowing who I am when I come by the Office.

I would not recommend because of the power outages, lack of parking and the rude emails from staff about them to the entire complex for no reason, and gates being open for weeks on end
I understand and I know that things happen that our beyond our control at times, but we do our best to take control when it comes to our resident's needs. That is why we have over a 50% resident renewal ratio. I do hope we can change how you feel so you too will renew!

Great location with a fair rent. Also - the pool isn't as "party" as some other Dallas complexes, which is refreshing. My neighbors have all been very friendly.
