I liked the community. It was close enough to be in the downtown area without having to be downtown. I liked the layout of the apartment, the bedroom was actually bigger than what I thought it would be in a one-bedroom layout.

I felt very good upon arrival. I loved the layout and spaciousness of the office, which made way of an amazing media and game room. The 24 hour fitness was icing on the cake for me. When I was told the pool was open year around that also took me by surprise. I would lease because of what they had to offer. I could really see this being home.

The location is great. I love being walking distance to deep ellum and 5 min from uptown. The park nearby is also a plus. The office staff are wonderful and the pool is nice. The appliances are just not great quality and the gym shouldn't even really be considered a gym.

The feel of the community was a very good one. It was highly updated, compared to other nearby places. The service the leasing agent offered was top notch. She was an effective listener, keen on providing an awesome experience.

It is obviously a little noisy downtown, but since that's out of anyone's control, I'd say I would recommend this apartment to others based on it's central location to downtown and uptown, it's safety given the area, and the quality of the apartments inside and out. I think you get a lot of bang for your buck at Marquis at Texas Street.

I dislike people leaving their trash out when it's not time for trash pickup and the hallway gets messy quickly and it isn't cleaned often.

I would like to say that it was my most favorite apartment community in terms of remodeling, amenities and layout. The place felt like a home and the media room was the best I had seen in an apartment community. The layout of the apartment I viewed was very nice and the there was real granite in the kitchen.

I don't know that many people but I do say nice things whenever people ask how I like living here

The leasing professional was very friendly throughout the on-site visit. I would recommend this apartment to family and friends because of the location, customer service and price. The leasing professional spoke to me like a friend which I admired. She presented me with a business card to show she wanted to help make a decision on an apartment. Based on the leasing professional's presentation, I would have leased the apartment because she seemed to care about my needs and was comfortable speaking to me. Even though I did not learn about 30 days of rental exchange as far as transferring from the community or to another apartment is possible. The prices of the apartment were reasonable and having a car garage with a space for myself was a satisfactory bonus. My experience made me feel valued as a potential resident. The leasing agent had a nice personality that made me feel comfortable.

This was a nice community and I liked the way the bathrooms were set up which was a plus. The landscaping and outdoor areas as well as inside were nice and the location was centrally located to various attractions. This was a place that I would not recommending.

Parking an be complicated at times since I am on the third floor unit.
