I love living here! This has been a huge improvement in the management department than my last apartment lease (somewhere else). The staff is prompt and great. The amenities are awesome and it's gorgeous here. The location is a huge plus; I love being able to hop on any highway from here.

The apartment looked nice, but it was made clear that the updates were not taking place. Some apartments had the updated stainless steel appliances and updated floors, while others did not. I wondered why the renovations had stopped and if the leasing company had lost faith in making the community high end. The common areas were modern and inviting looking. The pool area was nice and refreshing. It was good that the washer dryer was included in the price. When one considers the cost of home ownership in Texas, apartment rentals seem expensive. The leasing agent was polite, but not overly enthusiastic.

I generally liked what I saw. I liked the fact that the community was centrally located. I liked the communal facilities namely Media room, business center, pool room, fitness center, swimming pool with two grills and the parking space.

The valet trash removal was a bit too expensive. I do dot like the fact that you are charged processing fees monthly,.

I love the environment and location.

Needs updating in comparison to other complexes out there.

I thought the apartment was small and expensive, though it had nice finishes. The location was good, easy access to highways and it offered good safety features.

It was a very nice community with all the amenities a resident could need. It was in a perfect location with everything nearby, great neighborhood with close access to highways, shopping and restaurants.

Get the pet poop under control! Set the standard for the rest of the apartment complexes nearby

I rang the Marquis at Texas Street today and was pleasantly surprised to have been able to speak to an efficient, well informed, most pleasant and polite young lady by the name of JIMENA who patiently answered all my questions regarding the leasing of a unit there. The Marquis at Texas Street was recommended to me by a friend who has lived there very happily for 5 years. Since I am re-locating from New Jersey to Dallas, she suggested I should stay at the Marquis on Texas Street.
I was delighted with the service provided by JIMENA on the telephone, as I feel happy about renting in a development with competent, courteous and knowledgeable employees.

It was a nice, cozy apartment complex. It is convenient to shopping, freeways, Deep Elum,and various other night life and cultural venus. It looks like a very nice place to live.

The leasing professional was nice, accommodating and showed a genuine interest in pleasing me. He let me know I had options and showed the community well. I would rent at the Marquis on Texas based on the presentation.

I love my apartment community, I love the location, I love the layout of my apartment, over the past two years I have seen neighbors come and go, but everyone on my floor new and old are very friendly and I have gotten to know my neighbors on a first name basis. Its a great community, and I would recommend it to anyone I know.

Beware the nonrefundable "deposits". We paid a $400 nonrefundable pet "deposit" for one cat, plus $10/month pet rent, then were subsequently charged $300 upon moving out for carpet replacement, when our carpets were clean - we are very neat people and do not have a messy pet. Neighbors upstairs were incredibly noisy and we only received one parking spot for a two bedroom apartment. The second spot was a compact "free for all" where many people took up two spaces and you were left to park on the roof. Maintenance was subpar and the staff are powerless under the parent company CWS, who never responds to their requests.
