I wish parking was better - I can almost never find a spot near my apartment building (#5). Other than that this community is great. I'm really happy with the way the crime issues were resolved and the complex is always kept really beautiful. The pool is like a resort and perfect for impressing visitors with, lol.

I would not recommend my end of the community due to parking, and pricing would play a factor too.
We understand that is an issue parking and in the next few weeks we will be implementing reserved resident and visitor parking, as well as parking stickers. We are hoping that this will assist with the parking issues.
We completely understand your concern with rental rates in Austin, which have increased significantly within the past year. Our monthly rental rates are affected by the area market and we are very competitive with the market.

It's a beautiful apartment in a beautiful complex, but noise from upstairs is really loud and parking fills up too quickly. Need sound-proofing between floors. Parking spots should be assigned so people with multiple cars don't take up all of the spaces.
We are so sorry about the inconvenience of parking near your home. We do offer detached garages for lease. Normally, the noise levels are at a normal level. In the case of extreme noise levels, our Courtesy Officer is always here to help with any issues you may be experiencing.

I would only recommend to people without children who are willing to live on the top floor.
I’m sorry you feel that way. We do have families that live onsite as well as many 1st floor apartment homes.

I would not recommend this apartment because of the incredibly thin walls and ceilings (most friends visiting notice this and would not want to live here, either), as well as dated units and appliances. I would recommend this unit only on the off chance someone needs a great location and is willing to sacrifice comfortable living situations.
We are in the process of refinishing all apartment homes. They are absolutely amazing with granite countertops, Stainless appliances, dark wood cabinets, updated lighting. Great Hills receives very little nose complaints. The issue you are having may be a neighbor.

The dog poop stations are still not emptied often enough. Especially in the summer the poop stinks and attracts flies.
Thank you for keeping us informed and caring about your community. We will add the pest stations to the daily maintenance check list. We have purchased new trash receptacles with lids for the pet stations, as well as two more stations. They will be installed as soon as they arrive; with the next two weeks. Have a great week!

No longer seems like it`s good value for the money.
You are valued and we would love for you to let us know what we can do specifically to serve you better. We have also added many improvements to your community. We hope you have been able to utilize all the amenities available here at Marquis at Great Hills. In the past two years, we built our new clubroom, fitness center, business center and great room. New pool furniture, grills, landscaping thought out the community was been added this past year. I hope to have other improvements being done throughout the year.
