This is a very quiet community, close to everything, yet far from the downtown noise. I've been living here for four years, and I feel safe at any time of the day and night. Office personnel are extremely nice all the time.

Price too high for amenities and living space.
First, I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to fill out our survey. We really use these to evaluate how we are doing as a whole.
I am sorry there is an issue with noisy neighbors, this is the first we have heard of this from your area. Please let me know what is going on and is you can identify where the noise is coming from; and resolve the issue ASAP. We do not want you to have to deal with this. We are here to help you in any way possible. I wish the trash pick up could be later, but that is the time they have scheduled for us. I can definitely look into getting a later time with our next contract comes in effect.

I like the neighborhood & the apartment and most of the neighbors. But it's expensive and too hot in the summer.
The neighborhood is in a great location with easy to get to stores, food and entertainment. I can tell you that we are very competitive in pricing with the surrounding communities. I'm hoping that our amenities and the staff here at Northwest Hills justify the price that you're paying.

I actually have recommended it to several friends, but there's nothing I can do about prices and, sadly, that is what has put them off.

As for the pricing, it all depends on occupancy; since we've maintained high occupancy throughout the past year, it has affected pricing. We appreciate your referrals, and we hope you keep sending them our way!

The community has a comfortable feel to it. The landscaping and the amount of trees make it a nice community. You can get a good sense of why the area is so well-liked with the preservation of green landscaping, the greenbelt and how comfortable the community feels.
Thank you so much for providing your feedback. The Far West is a beautiful area; while you're still in the city, you're tucked away in an abundance of green, lively landscaping, giving it a homey, hill country feel. We're glad to hear that you are happy calling Northwest Hills your home!

I would recommend it because the location is great, the staff has always been pleasant etc... The only reason I would not recommend it is the price has always felt steep for the size/quality of the apartments. I understand that the market dictates these things, and that NW Hills is in a very nice area, so it's probably fair. But I still cringe a bit every time I open my checkbook on the 1st ;)

Northwest Hills is located in such a high demand area, being so close to downtown Austin, Zilker Park and Lady Bird Lake, so the prices in this area are more comprared to the lower demand areas. Its not like I told my friends this apartment is not good, they came in my apartment and see the ugly balcony floor on their own after the maintenance messed it up.

I just wanted to take a few moments to address your survey. First, thank you for taking the time to fill this out, we really use these surveys as tools to help us know where improvement may be needed, as well as where our strong points are.
I am so sorry to hear that you had a negative experience during a Maintenance visit. I would love a chance to visit with you and see what we can do to mend this. I know that due to the age of the property, the wood on all the patios are worn, when one is needing repair, whether it is new or old, we do correct the boards that need the repair. Typically we would not replace the entire patio unless is was needed to avoid any safety issues, not cosmetic. I did go and look from the ground with Gary the Lead Maintenance and the structure is very sound back there. However, if there comes a time when you feel otherwise, please let me know personally. At any time I will be more than happy to walk over there and take a look with you guys.
During certain times of the year when we are higher occupied, the parking can be limited. We do have covered parking. Have you considered that option? If that is something that you would maybe consider, let me know. As far as the car parking on the side of the building, anytime you see this please call and let us know the make, model and color. We will take care of this issue for you.
Would you like me to put your apartment on the Pest Control list for this Friday? You do pay monthly for your Pest Control, use it every Friday of you would like for the Scorpions. Let me know and I will make sure they come spray.

the apartments are way over priced for how old they are. Something breaks every month. I am paying extra for the "walnut" finihs which should be standard considering how old this place is.
