The leasing professional was charming and a pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable about the general community, but she did not excel at demonstrating the apartment itself. The community is in a great location, and the homes were nice but felt dated and undervalued compared to the price. Overall, it was an attractive property, but it has room for improvement.

It's generally not in the affordable range for most of them, and I understand two bus lines to this neighborhood will be canceled or have service drastically reduced in January.

To be honest, it was a little higher before the recent restrictions put in place. I boasted often about not having parking restrictions and the leasing company being hands-off (so it didn't feel so much like an apartment as a home) but it appears that's changing

The community was very clean and presentable and the amenities were adequate but nothing special. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only drawback was the lack of washer and dryer connections in the apartments.

It was a nice community with mature trees. The landscape was maintained. The rent was reasonable. I could be content living here.

The Northwest Hills community was very naturally beautiful. I love all the trees and the property was very green, uniquely landscaped and had a tranquil, quiet feel to it. The pool area was lovely, and I liked the layout of it and the ability to either be in the smaller pool or the large one, playing volleyball. There was a lot of shade there, and it looked like a great place to lounge and relax. The apartments looked rather dated, although I liked the spaciousness of the one I toured, and I really appreciated the large amount of storage that was offered. The idea of doing laundry outside on the balcony was very unappealing, however. The choice of going to the laundromat or being outside in all types of weather was not a good one. It would not have taken up much room to put a small laundry closet inside the apartments. The cabinetry, lighting and faucet fixtures were in need of updating. Overall, though, this was a reasonably priced, attractive community that offers a good value for the money, considering where it is located. It is definitely an economical choice compared to most apartment communities in Austin. The staff member I worked with was very helpful, so that is definitely a good reflection of the care that residents would receive from office staff.

As I keep pointing out, it was used to be great before the current staffs ruin all reputation.

Convenience

The leasing agent was very nice and knew the community well. The community was dated and it showed. The price was very high for what else I had seen out there. I just could not get past the popcorn ceiling, the chipped paint on the patio, the dated appliances and the very low ceiling in the bathroom.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and everyone is friendly. It seems a little pricey.

The property looked a little dated as I pulled into the parking lot. The leasing professional was very nice and gave a thorough presentation with a lot of detailed information. The property was clean and free of trash. The pool and grilling area was nice.

I have recommended it in the past, and would recommend it in the future, BUT I strongly think there are better places out there for less money.

The staff made me feel welcomed and at home. They assured me that all of my needs would be met and that they would take care of any concerns. I would like to live there.

I was impressed with the modern updates to this older community. The grounds were well kept and the wooded setting lent warmth to the overall community. I would put this community on my list to consider if I were in the market for leasing. I would refer others to this community.
