I have been living in this place for 4 years, and I am finally glad this nightmare is over, I am moving out this weekend, hoping to never have to come here again.

Until 2012, when the old management (BROADSTONE) was running the place, many of the issues were somewhat compensated by a friendly, helpful and proactive attitude of the manager (John, if I recall correctly...) and his staff.

Then, when "the Marq at Voss" was finalized, it was obvious that troubles were to come soon.

1) Totally unreliable, procrastinating, inefficient staff, with very rude and unprofessional manager.

2)Building is new, less than 5 years old, I was one of the very first tenant to move in in 2010, but I can firmly state it is built with cheap materials and cheap techniques that makes EVERYTHING very easy to break, from the bathroom to the kitchen, to the floor, to the windows/doors.

3) Parking, again, total responsibility of the poor management and total lack of enforcement. It seems people forgets that you need to keep your right also in private parking (especially in the very sharp blind turns), and that speed limits applies there as well... Also, when I had a hit-and-run, and then I found out that the camera pointing on my car wasn't working (because it is cheap and was broken, as stated above), the manager could not care less, she was actually counting the minutes for me to leave her office and release her by my unrequested complaints.

4)Pool and common areas: Make sure you don't miss the pool on a Sunday afternoon....
It is quite scaring to realize that there is so much wild people around you, and you basically live among them, and again, there is no enforcement to limit their lack of civilization.

Finally, this place is a urban-upscaled-wannabe community, but it is waaaay the opposite, beware prior signing the lease agreement that may spoil the next 12 months of your life.

Love my apartment. The only reason I wouldn't recommend is the price point for my friends may be too high. Additionally, most of my friends have dogs, and the dog area is very small in comparison with other apartments.

Great staff and amenities; fast turnaround on maintenance

Loud residents and road noise are a constant distraction

Good location, but security is an issue since none of the cameras function on the grounds.

It is a nice place and the new mgmt is really stepping up so let's see where it goes

As a person influence I have a lot a business relationships. After understanding the lease term on your proper in the living space that tenants rent. I would not recommend any of my fellow partner stay on a proper that can not fix what's broken after having a tenant of 3 years. We pay for what we expect and currently my expectations of Marq at Voss is low at this point.

I feel that they could find nicer communities to live at the same or lower price.

This is a beautiful property located just minutes from plenty of shopping. It offers spacious apartments with awesome amenities. They are a little pricey but definitely on par with luxury living in the area.

It's not clean

I do not live there I live in the apartments behind there.  They need some kind of security there to keep their people from being so rude.  There is a car there that every single night the alarm goes off and there are some nights it has gone off up to 5 & 6 times thru out the night. There is a renter that seems to think everyone needs to hear and feel their music at 1am, two nights ago there was a group of people in the parking garage having a great time at 3am till after 4. They were laughing, yelling... etc
They are in a parking garage that faces our complex so the noise echos. If they are this rude in the parking area I can not even think how bad they must be inside their own apartment. I am beting managment does not live on site so just does not care. 

The rates go up every year. Significantly. I think for residents already living there, the rates should stay the same because when the rates go up, it's not like we receive any added benefits. We're paying more for the same product.

I know this area very well and have lived in it for most of my life. For what the property offers and the location there are very many other properties I would recommend before this one. It needs to offer a little more warmth.

Recent apartment break-ins & theft; Cars being stolen from property; Vandalism & littering on property; Safety & security gates always being compromised; Pet fecies in hallways; Odors of pet fecies (dog park) placed in front of people's doors;

I have already recommended this complex to a friend.

I have lived here for over 2 years and cannot wait until my lease is up. I had my car accidentally towed which made me lose a half day off work because of a mistake on the complex/towing part. So, to say the least I was not a happy resident!!!!! Also, the trash issue is out of control and the lighting in the hallways which have not been replaced. Let's not talk about the gate issue which also seems to be out of commission always and in need of repair. Do not move here.
