The community had more reasonable rates than some. It was a late-70s community that did not look old because of considerable renovation.

On the good side, location, reasonable price.
To be aware of, appliances are not the best (I'm used to a much better dishwasher and refrigerator), parking may not be convenient, brown textured walls.

The parking situation really stinks. More and more grass is disappearing into rocks. People are often smoking on their porches and walkways which drift into your open windows. Foundational issues are apparent from several second story and first story porches. Sidewalks flood like no where else I've lived here when it rains. The "gym" isn't really a gym. Northwest Hills Apartments had a much better and usable gym. Very limited equipment and it isn't maintained well. I had to go buy a membership to a local gym to be satisfied.

I probably would not recommend this apartment complex because there seems to be a large gap in the price paid compared to the quality received. Although I like the particular units and I love the animal friendliness, overall it doesn't compensate for receiving completely unacceptable management of my problems. Also, units are very loud to the point where I can hear my neighbor use the restroom... wouldn't recommend that to anyone.

I have already recommended it to others seeking pet-friendly accommodations and/or temporary living arrangements.

Location. Walking distance to restaurants and bus line.

This is a unique community in that it was built in 1976 but beautifully renovated. The amenities are not like those found in most communities, as their beauty lies in the fact that they are natural. They consist of a fitness center and pool, but also access to Shoal Creek and a hike and bike trail that extends to the downtown area. The gem in this community is the leasing professional. During my visit, she was professional, friendly and worked hard to find the perfect apartment to accommodate all of my preference and needs.

Responsiveness of both office and facilities staff. Attention to safety and cleanliness.

My only complaints about the property are that 1) the walls seem to be paper thin, and every sound comes through and 2) I'm not super impressed with the bathroom fixtures - there should be an exhaust fan in there, along with better toilets and shower heads. Also a glass-top electric stove would be nice.

The location is fantastic, however, the prices are a little higher than expected.

I would recommend my apartment complex. It's a great location and a great place to live.

I would recommend based on location to central and downtown Austin. The upgrades have placed the complex very close or better than some of the newer properties I have seen.

The staff seemed very genuine. They took the time to ensure they understood what I was looking for and tried to make sure the community could provide it. I never felt pressured or like I was just another person walking through the doors. The community was kept up very well. I could tell the management took pride in the community. The leasing agent seemed to really like the community which made me feel I might as well. I felt like what the property and community fell somewhat short of what I expected in comparison to the price. The location of the community however came close to making up for that by providing a surrounding lifestyle close to home that was hard to match.

Great community to live in and good price

I would tell them about the excellent service and the convenience of the location. Of course, I would have to warn them about the rental rates.
