Depends on what the rental rates become. Right now, people would be shocked.

Despite the great location, the rent is just too high for the size of the apartment and the location.

I like it here a lot but the price is going up quite a bit.

Great location but far too expensive for the quality provided

Feedback from a current renter

Location is good, but the rise in crime rate is something we are all concerned about.

The new rental rates are quite high.

The convenience of the property is excellent to a lot of retail and to MoPac for commuting. I like the privacy it offers and the fact you don't feel like you are in an apartment. I love my concrete floors as well, which are hard to find in many apartments.

I WOULD recommend this community because the units are spacious, the neighbors (atleast in my section make you feel welcome) the location is convenient, the staff stays current with recycling, using email and paying rent online. I would be apprehensive to recommend because Walmart is next door and rent goes up every year that I have been here. Its a great complex but its hard to call it home if you have to move so soon. Keep the good ones around and encourage the tenants who don't follow your rules about cats on leashes; don't pick up their dog poo; or who are really loud after hours to move out!!

There are better options in the area for the same price range.

I have recommended it, mainly for the location and the proximity to nearby Capital Metro busses. I always tell my friends that the complex has not done as well in maintenance and that the management tends to change every 6 months or so.

I've seen the current rates on the website, and I don't think the prices listed are justified just yet. The apartments are old, the walls paper thin, and there are some serious pest issues in several buildings (as I've heard from neighbors and friends). Things seem to be improving slowly, but I don't think it's realistic to expect anyone to pay over $700 for a one bedroom home at this property.

I absolutely love CWS, but I moved into this complex to save money; therefore, it is a value decision rather than a comfort decision to live here. The neighborhood is a little more polluted with vagrants than other CWS properties where I have lived, so I would be more likely to recommend this apartment if it were gated.

The only way to fix the problems that plague this unit is if no one lives in the unit while the work is being done. The stairs leading up to the unit are falling apart to the point I fear some heavy lifting during move-in/move out would cause more and more damage until it finally needs to be torn down.

Location-wise, it's great. I don't know about the way the prices are going up, though.

I am not sure if others in the complex have had similar bug problems, but if I were asked to recommend this property to a friend or acquaintance, I would definitely let them know about my experience with bugs and its affect on my living experience.
