It would be nice to have electrical/light switches pertaining to entry near entry of apartment and diagram of what each switch does. Would be nice to be able to turn off porch light. I like that the community is quiet.

Love many things about Cascade Summit Apartments. The office managers are wonderful in every way, grounds are well manscaped and maintained, maintenance personnel is very knowledgeable and courteous, and maintenance requests are resolved quickly. Resident visitor parking is more than adequate. Property is conveniently located near shopping malls, downtown medical facilities, recreational facilites, and the airport. Only complaints are the heating system, lack of air conditioning, and automated answering system for office telephone.

My one dissatisfaction is that I have been promised every month to have the panes in my bay window changed. The panes have their seals broken and are very unsightly. The heating unit is very noisy. Trim back branches on pathway to let more light through.
I have had a window they keep telling me they will fix for four years lol

Great service!!! I love it here! Would like pruning of Evergreen trees in the rear.

3-4 sturdy park benches around the area would be nice (1-2 in sunny spots and 1-2 in shady spots.) Have designated parking spaces for all the over-size trucks that stick way out into the traffic lanes. Those that are parked next to an intersection create a very dangerous situation.

More attention should be given to maintenance of the doors. There was, and still is, a large dent on my building's garage door, as well as some embarrasing scratches and names scratched into the door from previous tenants.

Fitness center needs wipes/spray to clean machines after use. Need more signs to help visitors find apartments.

My only issue is trash. When it is full, the area looks bad. Seems to fill up quickly, may need additional trash area. The appliances could use some upgrading, my fridge runs constantly. Not high quality appliances. Everything else is good.

Overall, Cascade Summit is a great place to live and the property always looks good. I would like to see the parking rules enforced a bit better, there are several cars that appear abandoned. Some of the tenants don't use the garage to park even one car. Barking dogs are also a problem with several units.

No control of neighors from outside of community using trash/recycling area. With Tanon Springs close to property, no control of visitors or staff parking in Cascade Summit area. Rent becoming too expensive for me to stay. Need to let management have some control with rent prices, not corporate oversight. Too much work for maintenance to do to keep property in tip top shape year round.

The grounds are always very nice. The people in the office (Chris and Alaina) are always very pleasant and helpful. Repair guys (Tom and Sunny) are always prompt and helpful.

The staff does the best they can to fulfill their jobs, but they are understaffed with 294 apartments to deal with and a large area. Many weekends, no one is in the office because Chris is the only one here and has to be out showing potential residents the apartments and property. More often than not, he is here by himself on the weekends. I've seen people come and try to find someone to talk to, can't, and then leave. It must be very frustrating for Chris. I still hate having to pay for a trash service I don't use. I'd like to be given some paint to touch up my stair banister. Overall, I've been here for almost nine years, love this area, and love the staff. They try hard to keep up with an older property, but they need more help. GREAT STAFF. I greatly appreciate their patience with me and all of my flowers.

Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The community was located in an upscale neighborhood. It had a neighborhood feel and did not feel crowded. The rent was appropriate for the space and amenities.

Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The community was outstanding. The location was ideal on top of the hill. The buildings and landscaping were in great condition.

I would suggest they compare if they have flexibility to move around the community or nearby cities and also look at home rental or purchase first.
