The overall cleanliness is poor. Advertise as pet friendly and I like dogs, but it feels like we're living in a dog park. Frequently skirting puddles and poop in common areas. Maintenance is definitely lacking. Repairs are usually quick "patch" jobs. The advertisement is for luxury, but the appliances are old and chipped, dinged, bottom of the line. Faucets are older with the finish coming off. Damage done by previous residents, such as scratched up doors from pets were not fixed. If you have allergies, this is not the place to live. We change our own filter with the high level Filtrete ones and still have problems.

The overall cleanliness of the building is not the greatest. Its one thing to be a pet owner, its another when the entire floor smells like Dogs.

The apartments themselves are great and offer a unique decor compared to most offerings. The location is good as well. It is close to Hermann Park, Rice Village, and just a few minutes from Midtown.
However, the maintenance is a major disappointment. Elevators frequently break, garage doors are stuck, and this year, the water has been turned off for most of the day on several occasions. Even minor maintenance issues are handled poorly. For example, my AC completely stopped running, the motor wouldn't even turn on. They replaced the filter and called it good, even though the AC still did not turn on.
I really like the apartment itself and the location. However, I am seriously considering not renewing my lease. The idea of coming home to no running water or constantly wondering if I will be stuck in an elevator is getting old. A little more attention to detail and concern for doing a good job on the maintainence side would truly make this a luxury apartment, but it's hard to say all the wonderful things about this place are worth it when running water is a "most of the time" kind of thing.

I had a bit of a scare recently regarding an item of value that was presumed stolen. In the end the item was found. Throughout the unsettling process of making the report, the office staff working that day was calm and professional, and I really appreciated their help. Thank you again, Lofts!

I'd be willing to pay a little more to be closer to the city, I'd recommend the same to others.

I think it is fairly priced, it is in a great location, however there are maintenance issues with elevators and messy hallways at times

I love the shuttle bus that eliminates a need for parking.

It was a wonderful property. Once they get the construction complete, the property will be perfect.

I would still caution others although I love my apartment. It is unique in its style and I hope that management follows through on more than just simple fixes like painting.

Good location, but building is old/maintenance of property is not as good as it once was, and it is getting more expensive.

I'm disappointed with the new management company. Seems they can't even get the basic things rights yet seem overly concerned about the gym floor and painting the outside while the windows haven't been cleaned in two years.
