Getting into the gate doesn't work for guests. They can't call my phone. Lights at dog park would be nice. Otherwise, everything is great.

Property well kept overall, wish we had screened patio (can't sit without bugs/bees attacking you.) Rent prices should be more evenly raised throughout the year, not all at once.

I live on the ground level facing the parking lot, and the patios should have more privacy. It seems the lush landscaping is on the pond side. Some type of privacy screen could be installed or the landscaping should be such that it provides a barrier and privacy from parking lot. Mariel in the office is fantastic!

Found out that same apartment one building over is $100 less a month! Same floor and same view, not cool!

The management staff here continues to be outstanding.

Complex is very well maintained. Maintenance issues are addressed in a very timely manner. Parking is an issue, there are not enough spaces. When you come in late, there are no spots available.

The entire staff here is amazing! I love walking into the office knowing that the people working there actually care about my renting and living experience. The maintenance response time is incredible and they do a great job. The only problem is something that is really more negligence of the people that use the gym. The office continues to try and make it great, but residents and guests break off electrical connections, steal the main clock, and break treadmill TVs. Maybe if more signs were posted and some cameras were placed in the gym, people would be hesitant to defacing property. Overall, we're happy living here and enjoy the management/their efforts!

I think a minimum of one dedicated parking spot should be allocated to every apartment.

I have lived at The Retreat at St. Johns since August 2014. Of all rental communities in which I have lived, I have found this community to stand out from all the rest. I attribute this to the staff, Lauren, Florence, and Steve in particular. Great group of leasing specialists and maintenance personnel. This is definitely a case where leadership by our community manager, Lauren, sets the tone and deserves kudos. Great community with great staff running it. Great people with great personalities, great community!!

I really like how well kept the complex is. Only complaint I have is not being able to get a gate code without having a 904 phone number.

I have lived here for 8 years, it has been awesome!! I love the complex and staff. Everyone working here goes the extra mile to please you. Would recommend The Retreat to anyone. Thanks so much.

The staff at The Retreat is amazing. Every time we enter the office, they always have a smile on their faces. Our pets love Lauren and Monelle, and we do too. They are awesome assets to the company. We would not have stayed for as long as we have if it weren't for the two of them.

We need better lighting around lake and better gym treadmills/carpet/paint. Hallways in buildings are always dirty! Hot tub and pool area are loaded with red ant hills. We need a better choice of people moving in. Lauren and Steve are only good ones in the office.

We would like to see a better system for checking to see if propane tanks for community grills are filled, especially before the weekend. Technically, only 1/3 of the residents are allowed to have grills, that leaves most of us relying on the community grills. On multiple occassions, we have had to forgo our plans to grill because of no propane!

Just recently moved here, so everything has been great so far, other than having heavy footed neighbors upstairs.
