I would recommend this apartment community only to people who are under the age of 25. I would not recommend it to older individuals because of the tenants and atmosphere.

Not 5 but not horrible

The parkway has some great amenities like the gym and office center, but for a 1980's complex they charge you like its new, not to mention the night shuttle service is hardly 5 star service at all: the driver is either way to early from skipping stops, late or doesn't show up at all. He makes unprofessional comments while on the job transporting residents and hardly even looks at you much less says anything upon entering the shuttle. It doesn't even compare to the excellent day time shuttle service that we receive. It is truly a night and day difference. The hot tub is usually closed, on the off chance that it is open it is great. The rest of the staff is usually friendly but maintenance and cleaning staff are restricted to a Mon-Fri schedule, leaving weekend problems for Monday. Some incidents with broken windows and dog poop had been left for the entire weekend. If a resident doesn't personally inform the staff they are left clueless. It was bearable for a year but leaving once the lease is up.

This property needed a lot of updating in the hallways and apartment. The one I looked at did not seem very nice for the price.

Although the location and amenities are great, it is not worth the price. They keep on raising my rent, and I at this point, I would expect an apartment that is higher quality.

THe community amenities were fantastic. I was disappointed when I viewed the actual apartment. The kitchen looked old and dated and the closets were small. And the apartment looked dull and lifeless.

Great location but…

Great location but…

Cons:
• Outdated kitchen and bathrooms
•Â Noisy like a dorm
•Â Cheap linoleum flooring
•Â No parking for guests
•Â Parking is extra in garage and in lot
•Â Gym is not open 24 hours
•Â Management does not care about you as a person unless you have money in your hand

Pros:
•Â Great location (access to downtown and Cherry Creek Trail)
•Â Great amenities (awesome gym, beautiful clubhouse, community gatherings)
•Â Dog friendly (dog park)
• Plenty of storage space in unit
• Two bedroom apartment is a good layout for roommates (separated by common areas)

I'm not a fan of the linoleum floors (adds to the noise factor for those living below). But, since mine is still carpeted, no complaints here. View is great, centrally located, walking distance of downtown, great bike trails along cherry creek.

The extra deposits and fees are unchangeable, not reflecting individual cases. The staff can be very rude to deal with depending on who you get. You pay a lot of money for amenities.
