I think I may have made a mistake moving into this apartment community. The amenities are nice, but the kitchen and bathrooms are so outdated. The location is great and I did luck out with a great view from my balcony.However I feel like I live in a freshman dorm and I pay way too much money to feel like that. They need to be more selective with whom they allow to live here.

The community was very attractive and had breathtaking views of the mountains.

I really think that this place is a little overpriced.

The staff has been nothing but nice. They helped and went out of their way to check back with us when there was a noise issue from above (which has been stopped). There is barely ever any noise, even from the nearby dog park, because our doors and windows seem to be good and keeping it out.

And within the building, the only noise we seem to hear is if someone is talking out in the hall and we are near the door...which doesn't bother me when sleeping since the bedroom doesn't share any walls with anything but the great outdoors and our own apartment.

Our huge balcony was a pleasant surprise, it's bigger than the one we saw when we first looked at a similar apartment.

The location is great, there is public transportation within a few blocks, both buses and trains. The shuttle service to campus and downtown is a nice addition. Both Cliff and Eric (shuttle drivers) are amazing and nice people.

We have had a couple of maintenance requests that were handled very quickly, as promised. When they mentioned that all maintenance requests would be handled within 24 hours, I had my doubts, based on prior apartments. But these guys mean it. Kudos!

The gym is amazing. Most other apartment buildings have a small room, if any, with minimal equipment. These guys have 3 rooms, many weights, many machines...love it.

The communication has to be the best. We get emailed updates regarding anything in our community, events, shuttle disruptions, office closures...they are very good about this and we really appreciate it.

There are a lot of students and other reviewers have indicated this was like a dorm. We have not experienced this as a problem. We sometimes can tell there is drinking and music outside...but once we enter our home, it isn't an issue, at all. We have 2 key cards, 2 sets of keys, there are 2 of us...why anyone would say they couldn't get a second key card is beyond me unless there was only one name on the lease!

We feel so lucky that Denver has such an amazing community near the city center. We love all the amenities, beautiful upgrades and upscale feel. We feel very safe living here, and think the police protection in this area is much better than the suburbs. The Management and all staff are the best anyone will find anywhere. They respond readily to any concerns. Parkway has concrete floors and ceilings. It is so very quiet. We never hear our neighbors through the floors or ceiling or walls. The grocery store that is within walking distance, the library and many restaurants including the 16th Street Mall is a big plus for us. We would HIGHLY recommend this community to anyone.

Apartments need updates to reflect rental rates. Everything seems pretty cheap.

I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.

It is affordable, great location and amenities, and I have enjoyed my time here.

I can see how it's not for everyone. It really depends on your location needs and personality.

The value is good if you do not have a pet or vehicle.

It is a great location to downtown, has a store a block away, a light rail station 4 blocks away, and also right next to the bike/walking trail. This is a great place to live!

A great thing about the parkway are the maintenance staff, they are always so nice and fix things very quickly and efficiently. Ralph and Vinny always do such a great job and know we can rely on them whatever our problem.

The location is good and the facilities are enjoyable and easily accessible but a lot of the fixtures need updating (kitchen and bathroom) and it's pretty pricey.

This is a well-known and convenient community near downtown. The community was here at the advent of providing housing in the downtown area. It has maintained its appeal and kept up the success of the neighborhood.

The only time I am embarassed showing my apartment to visitors is that the hallway always looks/smells pretty bad. I am on the first floor in the Vail building and it almost always smells like smoke or musty. Also the cartpet is very dirty. The different from the lobby downstairs to the hallway is a huge downgrade. Other than that complaint I would recommend it to others.
