I have lived at Prairie Crossing for a little over a year and a half. The staff is friendly, and also very helpful. I can always count on Marissa anytime I've needed anything. The apartment complex is in a convenient area with access to the Dallas Tollway and 635. My overall experience with Prairie Crossing has been great. My advise to the new tenants is to always have your guest park on the 6th floor not under the covered parking , otherwise they will get towed. Also, parking on your level if you are on the first or second floor is difficult if you get to the apartment after 9 PM. And people, please pick up after your dog Thanks

Nice apartments and great people on the management office, but horrible maintenance on the common areas like halls

I would stay here if my bathroom didn't seem to be infested by what I call large cockroaches. People tell me they're just large water bugs. I have lived here less than a year and have requested pest control on numerous occasions. Lived at my previous apartment for 2 years and only called pest control twice. Unfortunate because this is a nice place but I can't handle the bugs.

Great place, quite, great neighborhood and great management. Great value. Total sq ft great for the money.

Prairie Crossing is a nice community to live in. The grounds are kept nice and most neighbors are respectful. The walls are thin and you can sometimes hear neighbors playing music TV too loud. I wish the hallways stairwells were maintained more regularly. Overall the living experience is very nice comfortable. With the lush landscaping you feel like you can escape the rush of the city and still be close to where everything is happening.

The office staff responds to every issue in a very timely manner and addresses it to the best of their ability. This is one of the few apartment complexes that constantly has on going events and gatherings for their residents. The only downside for me has been the parking. It can get a little tough to find a space but there is always the option of adding on a reserved parking space.

It is a great place to live, the maintenance people are very helpful and if they need to go to the office to solve any issue they should talk to Aubry, who is ALWAYS very nice and helpful

My only concern is the garbage containers in the parking lot in the 1st floor. I always have to use this entrance and it smells so bad that i have to hold my breath everytime i enter and exit the parking lot. They don't seem to clean that area at all.

Also, the corridors have all sorts of insects dead just lying there. Regular sweeping is needed.

Apart from that, everything else is excellent.

The apartments are a good size but the layout of the 2 story unit just wasn't thought out well enough . The closets and bathroom are small. The extra loft space upstairs doesn't really serve a purpose as there is no closet up there either . Kitchen space is nice and so are the appliances . Never really hear my neighbors . The breezeways need cleaning often but they get to them in a time manner . Surprised at how many people rather have a dirty door then walk their non compliance trash to the trash room. I've lived here for 2 years and haven't had much issue . The staff has worked with me on anything that might be a problem . Last Christmas we had an issue with my dog being blamed for something . Rather then sweep it under the rug the next time I came into the office they apologized. I appreciated that . They are honest people who try . They even throw events for us often and for the kids in the summer. They are a genuine property.

The apartment complex is very nice but I'be had some problems withe some members of the staff.

The location is great for someone wanting to live in Addison. The apartments are spacious and well kept. The insulation makes a lot of noise though. Business center is inconvenient if you are wanting to use it after 5pm. The pool area is nice and not overly crowded. CARE team is great for making you feel welcome. Apartment staff is not good at following up. I moved into my apartment in March and completed an inventory of all the stuff that needs to be fixed in my apartment. It is now the end of June and nothing has been fixed these were minor problems though, but nonetheless they have still not been fixed . The rent is a little expensive for the 1 bedroom, but after moving out I did not have a choice, but to choose a Lincoln property. My lease is up in March so I supposed it is a great place to live until then.

Pros covered parking really helps in the winter time, there are plenty of available doggy bags and areas for your pets to do their business, plenty of events that engage the community, friendly staff, fairly quiet, close to a lot of things, medium property price I've seen far worse

Cons Some of the stairwell doors are broken, a couple of residents like the entire complex to hear their iTunes in the car, and the garbage guy comes on Saturday. That's literally it.

I'm just hoping I won't get saddled with a huge fee from moving out - but otherwise it's an okay place to be.

Prairie Crossing Apartments are a wonderful place to live. The staff is very friendly and always available to help their tenants. The complex is well maintained and a very quiet place to live. We live the location of the complex. It is close to shopping and dining with easy access to downtown Dallas.
