Bad Management

Terrible property management. They simply do not address complaints or deal with issues. Property has potential, but until CWS gets an effective property management staff in place, there are better options.

Apartment if finished out unlike any other complex we've seen in this price range. Great amenities, good management that stays on top of things. Nice residents.

The only reason I would consider not renewing is the cost of breaking a lease. My job requires me to move and the breakage is the only thing that causes me stress.

I absolutely love living at the Marquis at State Thomas. The office staff is so kind and always willing to go above and beyond. The apartments are a great value for the location. This is the first apartment that I've lived in where I truly feel like it's my "home." I've gotten to know most of my neighbors and they are all incredibly nice and similar to me in terms of age, profession, etc. Noise is never a problem in my apartment, yet I'm close enough to walk to bars and restaurants. I honestly could not ask for a better place to come home to.

There are brand new apartment complexes opening up for only about $50-$100 more than what I pay at Marquis State Thomas with brand new amenities, etc.

I like the facility and location. However, there are lots of other new properties on the market that are similar in price, but offer some better features (after move in bonuses - my friend got the new Gables uptown, with a larger floor plan and nicer appliances, for less than I currently pay).

The location was hard to maneuver into. The future resident parking was horrible. I had to park on the street. The community amenities did not justify the price per square footage.

Elevators need to be inspected. Some are multiple months past inspections date. And maybe a strict policy about parking within the lines. I've come home multiple times and unable to park due to many cars parked WELL OVER the line or double parking which takes up the number of available parking spots.
Thank you for voicing your concerns. The elevators have been inspected but we have been a little slow on putting up the new certificates. We will have these posted as soon as possible. While individual maintenance requests appear to be completed in a very timely manner, larger issues are not identified and handled as quickly. The spa continually breaks and is not repaired quickly. Several external doors do not lock.
