Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The apartment community was clean and well maintained, but it was a little overpriced for me.

After reviewing the visit, I will really not consider this community.

The agent was very professional. The community was very nice. I felt very comfortable and would love to live in the community. The total community was clean, modern, and gave a feeling of home. The views were beautiful.

Overall the community was appealing. The kitchen was not as large as I would like it, but the bedroom was large. The pool area was nice and the view was beautiful.

The leasing professional knew what she was talking about, but I was not excited about wanting to rent at the apartment. The only thing that drew me in was the cleanliness of the apartments and landscape. The features of the apartments were very modern and consistent. However, besides the work out area and the pool there were not any selling points. Other rentals at that price include reserved parking if it is outdoors, but most of them have covered garage parking included in the rental price. Also other amenities I would want were a lounge area, more community events and barbecue pit near the pool. I did like that there was valet trash.

The apartment presentation was professional. The amenities offered were average, comparable to the amenities other locations were offering within the surrounding area for the same rental pricing.

This is a pretty community along the waterfront. The upgraded kitchen and Jacuzzi bathrooms are adorable. There seemed to be plenty of closet space and a great washer/dryer available in each apartment.

Despite the enormous amount of snow on the property, it appears to be a beautiful looking community. I can imagine that during the warm weather season, it must look very nice and inviting. Everyone has a deck, unless you are on the first floor, and then you have a patio. The only other staff member I encountered was the man eating pizza with my leasing professional, who did not smile or say anything to me. He did not seem very friendly.

This property had a lot to offer. I enjoyed how large the apartment was.

The agent that assisted me was great. They anticipated needs and questions that I might have before I had a chance to voice them.

There are other communities up and down the waterfront that have more to offer. The biggest thing the community has going for itself is the fact that its a small community and the apartments are large for the price. They will appeal to someone who is looking for a larger apartment for their price and also for someone who is looking for more of a small community feel.

The property was central to shopping, restaurants, and New York City. From this location you had access to all major highways. The property was well maintained. The rent was a good value. The 24 hour maintenance was great. The units were spacious. The fitness center was a stand alone building and the heated swimming pool a plus. For me, the views of Manhattan were spectacular.

There are quite a few apartment communities lining the Hudson River in this area. All are convenient to public transportation and usually shopping is nearby. Mariner's Landing's apartments are noteworthy for their spaciousness and the convenient design of their community. The heated, swimming pool was large with a tiled area for chairs. The fitness center by comparison was small for a community of 110 apartments, but probably adequate. The price rates are also probably more affordable than the current urban market.

The tour was around the office to see an apartment and the leasing agent showed me floor plans. She showed me the pool, small gym and back to the office. I was not really sold on any of it, other than the grounds were well kept and the view of the river. The flooring, appliances and counter tops are standard fare in most communities. I was shocked at the pricing of a two bedroom apartment, with nearly no amenities to offer at the community. I would not lease in this community, because there were many others nearby that offer more for less.

This is a great facility full of so much to do and see. The shopping opportunities are endless. If you are hungry the restaurants are just a few steps away. This place is incredible. The quality of life here is above the rest.
