After selling my home I needed a temporary place to live with a garage and storage until I could purchase another home. I researched and selected 3 of the best apartments in Charlotte. I was so down after the first two apartment visits. Reluctantly I continued my search and visited The Preserve at Ballantyne. From the very moment I walked into the clubhouse and met Markita I was ready to sign. The peace of mind, cleanliness, convenience, friendliness, privacy, and appearance was enough to make this a comforting change. Had I not been concerned about interest rates going up I probably would have signed a year contract and stayed. I close in a few weeks and already know I'll miss this place. I can't imagine anyone not loving it at The Preserve.

This is a beautiful apartment complex! Yes, it's older but kept up. The neighbors are incredibly kind...the office staff I can't say enough about! Kristen, Liz, David and the rest of the gang are awesome! We pay a VERY good price for a 2 bedroom in the Ballantyne area. It is safe here but like anyplace you live, you still need to be mindful...it's the 21st century and well...life isn't perfect, that includes our society as a whole. We've never heard of any incidences here and have thus far, no problems with anything! The property is VERY well maintained! 

Good: The apartment size and layout are nice, it is in a good area and the amenities (basketball court, pool and exercise facility) are a plus.

Bad: The rent seems to be a little high compared to other similar places. Parking is an issue sometimes and I have to walk a little ways to my apartment, which can be a pain if I have groceries to carry along the way.

Great management/maintenance, curb appeal, floor plans, comparable rents(although they are rising due to market conditions)and convenient location.

I have already recommended this apartment complex to anyone wanting to live and who may work in the Ballantyne area. It's quiet, safe, clean, close to everything, PET FRIENDLY! I've been living here for 9 years!

I would like to see the fitness center be larger, otherwise the property is great. The basketball court is a plus. No other community in the area has one. The car care center is a great plus as well. The management company should be proud of who they have leasing their apartments because she did an excellent job.

The parking facilities are not adequate and it would help greatly if each unit had at least one assigned space.

We are working here for a couple of years from Scotland in the UK and looked at a lot of apartments and houses before deciding on the Preserve.
The pool area caught our eye immediately and the complex was tastefully laid out, the warm welcome we received from Tiffany and Kristin just sealed the deal. No problem was too great. We have just renewed our lease for another year as it provides everything we need, privacy, security, amenities and wonderful service. All our visiting family and friends love it here too.

I made the great of choosing this place as my home! It's not just an appartments it's truly sweet-sweet home...

I am very happy here. I love the location and myself and my children enjoy the amenities. I feel safe and have not had worries about theft. I like the layout of my living space and feel it is adequate and competitive for what I am currently paying for rent.

This apartment community is amazing. Not only do they have remarkable amenities like their basketball court and 24 hour fitness facility, but they have great floor plans. The office staff are awesome. They are very personable, enthusiastic, and friendly. The landscaping is impeccable and I would love to call this place home.

My family relocated from NY and did most of our searching via the internet. We fell in love with The Preserve online and our expectations were exceeded when we saw the property in person. Apartments recently updated inside and out, and there are constant improvements being made to the grounds. New outdoor kitchen and fire pit recently built and pool converted to salt water. Staff is friendly and responsive. Some have said the price is high, but coming from NY I disagree. The Preserve is a great place to live.
