Noisy neighborhood. SRQ School of Rock and Roll has band practice almost every night until 10pm. Church members and school children provide a constant bombardment of voice, traffic and related noise.

Everyone is different, but short term may be better for most because of the location downtown and proximity to the
beaches. Makes a great hotel for short-term, temporary stays (which many do) because it's less expensive than a hotel stay by the month.
