The agent asked all the questions to make sure that the community met my needs. The visit was very impressive. I would live at this community based on the presentation and the staff.

I love living here
The Retreat is a great place to live. It is so close to tons of restaurants, bars, entertainment movies, bowling, putt-putt, etc , walking biking trails, and right across from the Lincoln Lightrail station so easy to get downtown . It is very nicely maintained, the front office staff is wonderful, tons of amenities in the complex itself, and the apartments are really nice inside. I can pay rent and request maintenance services online that are always completed in a very timely manner . The complex is very pet friendly. Yes, there's occasional street and neighbor noise, but you expect that in an apartment setting. Overall, the benefits far outweigh any downsides. Plus, it's gated, individual garages are available, and no parking permits are required for guests visitors. I always recommend this place for apartment-hunting friends.

I enjoyed my tour of the apartment and the community.
Avarage place
My concern with this appartment complex is the outdated interior and the outdated fitness center. All of the appliences in the unit are old and so is the flooring and carpet. The exercise equipment in the fitness center are outdated also. The rest of the appartment complex is very nice.

My perception as a customer considering leasing at this community is a so-so one.

You can get more for your money elsewhere
It's pretty run down and dilapidated for what the fees are ... consider looking elsewhere. Maintenance is pretty incompetent when it comes to repairs and the high turnover in leasing staff conveys a huge level of incompetence ... it's hard to find someone who knows what they're doing. There's better places out there ... it's a long way from what it used to be.
Don't rent - go elsewhere.
This is a rudely run overcharging ill-managed complex. Complaining is pointless as they threaten to send you to a collection’s agency if you don’t cough up the money that you didn’t know you owed They’re too cheap to pay for proper trash pickups, they send nasty grams to tenants, erroneous rent invoicing / billing – as in double what you’re too pay. The office staff is young and inexperienced and rude; not to mention a high turnover. Heating / air conditioning bills will be outlandish due to poorly insulated apartments.
Nice Community
I have lived over 3 years at Retreat and had never had any issue with Office staff neighbors or with any maintenance requests. Overall good community.
Love living here
I would highly recommend a friend to live here. I love the amenities, staff is always great, great layout of the apartments and a lot of things in walking distance.
