Decent Place to Live (With Current Management)

I've lived here for 3 or 4 management changes and the new team seems to be very genuine and helpful. In fact they usually go over and beyond. I really hope they plan to stay around, because if they do, I will stay! Knowing that their is a team of quality people in the office makes living here a lot easier. I've lived in a few different floorplans since I moved in and I do have to say they are all pretty decent. The grounds are well kept and the buildings are maintained - they just recently got painted. Just some things to note. I wouldn't call the kitchens "gourmet" (as they do on the brochures). They are spacious, with black appliances, but surely not high end. High end to me means, gas stoves, convection ovens, stainless steel appliances, ice/water in fridge door, etc. None of which we have. All units have garden tubs, but they are not jetted.
From my experience pick a third floor unit as they tend to be the most quiet. Stay away from units facing the freeway (VERY noisy) and close to the pool (also very noisy during summer). The walls are pretty thin so if you have noisy neighbors it may be awful for you. In my old unit I heard the gentlemen snoring every single night.
Some of the bad things. Parking is pretty bad. However I simply love the fact that they've severely limited visitor parking. I call the towing company every chance I get when I see illegal parking. I get a thrill watching cars get towed and people come out upset. Like they didn't know what they were doing wrong! HAHA. Get a carport or a garage! It's well worth the price.
The units are a little overpriced, I think, but it's how the world is.
There are a lot of dogs, mostly friendly. However there is lots of dog doo everywhere because people don't clean up.
The pool is usually a little dirty. I've never seen it sparkle. I don't usually go because there is a lot of drinking, smoking, and kids. People use the pool area as a party place. I wish it was more limited, as far as guest access and no kid times
Overall, if you can afford it, I'd say move in. It's apartment living so you never know who is going to be next to you. Good Luck and Enjoy!

Close to freeway; nice neighborhood; good front office; repair requests handled; seems safe enough; love the work out room and the "office space"; I used the round table in that smaller room for a project due to lack of room to spread out in the apt. Everyone speaks to us from office peeps to maintemamce personnel.

I would recommend but make sure they knew about the parking.

Office hours are incovenient. There is no security.
There has been an active officer on duty since the apartments where built in 2008. So there is security. The office hours are Mon-Fri 10-6 and Saturday 10-5. I don't think those are horrible hours.

Feedback from an independent evaluator

I was seriously impressed by these apartments. What you get compared to price is fantastic, not to mention that the location is great.

If the parking problem is corrected, it would definitely be worthy of a recommendation.

Parking is awful!

I really like the apt. Itself, but wish I didn't have the noise factor. I hear the folks upstairs routinely.

Feedback from a current renter

wouldn't recommend parking but new management is working towards a solution

Parking, street noise, completely new staff and mgnt company, noisy bothersome stairs & the worst of all - i can't use my ice maker!! I should not have to buy bags of ice for what I pay in rent.

The community is not the same as it was before. They are opening a hotel right in front of the complex and that will cause unnecessary traffic and safety concerns.
I heard the hotel is a Starwood Suites which is a high end hotel extended stay whcih is appropriate to this end of town where the new exxon building is being nuilt, and they are also building a new wells fargo bank on the corner, The fence that seperates the two will prevent most any kind of intrusion, and starwood is known for have 5 star service and quality. Im not worried at all...

It's a nice complex, but the regular change in management, I-45 location and long-standing needed repairs are concerning. However, The grounds are very well kept and staff is generally responsive with questions and needs. I have also rarely had issues with neighbors, which is great.

The price of the apartments are a bit pricey given there absolutely no parking or the residents unless they pay another chunk of change just to get a covered spot, which may not even be close to your apartment. I think all trucks being used for business purposes ie utility trucks shouldn't be able to use closer parking spots when they have other vehicles as well covering several other spots. Due to the shortage of parking spots in close proximatey to the apartments, residents are resorting to parking in stripped, handicapped, and fire lanes.

Based on previous management, I would not recommend this apartment complex; however, in the event that improvements are made to the benefit of ALL residents, we would consider recommending to friends in the area

Parking should be individually asigned to each apartment
