this place is great there is some issues with the parking but overall thats minor compared to amenities helpful staff and location, they have parties every month and it really is nice to have a way to meet people when your not from here, its clean and I love my apartment

Staff is wonderful and friendly! Any maintenance requests are handled promptly. Community is kept clean and beautiful.

I moved in back in June and still have things around this apartment that need to be fixed ...... Counter top that has bowed, nails coming out of the trim near the floor. On top of the fact the first 2 months I lived her I dealt with a ridiculous amount of bugs, roaches, Mosquitos and ants. It was so bad I had ants in my bed and all in my closet as well as on my face when I would wake up in the morning! That finally was resolved ........ But now the issue of parking...... I'm fine with parking in the complex anywhere.....I get the limited parking spots ...... However to have a sticker on my car and in less than a week , twice .... Have to park across the street in the freezing cold is ridiculous!!!!!!! There are cars parked in residents parking with out the parking stickers and I am having to walk almost a mile to get to my apt from outside the complex!!!!! I'm all about fitness but this is crazy..... Someone needs to be on duty removing cars that don't have stickers , no one has even given me to common courtesy to return my phone calls and say they are handling it!!!!!!! It seems unprofessional to give more parking stickers than available!!!!!!! Hmmmmm........ Sounds like some residents got more parking stickers than the ones that moved in before June........... Cause there's too many cars for spots!! So annoying ! Can't wait for my lease to be up!!!!!

Besides the very friendly staff, the amenities of this community are much more than you would expect to get for this price.

Clean, quietish except for the pool area.

This community design of the apartments makes the apartment feel like a small starter house. The amenities offered are in comparison to the standard offered at most of the nicer communities. It is priced in the right category for what is offered. I would lease at this community.

My husband and I moved from out of state. Due to our timeline we were unable to visit any properties, which naturally was very stressful. When I called the Marquis, the staff was very friendly and guided me through the website and explained pictures as they were shown online (they went to the website as well). From the description, we were able to get a good picture of what we would be renting. We signed our lease online; which is another great feature. Everything from rent, to service requests, and community information can be found online. Receipts and service request receipts, as well as community activities are emailed, instead of posted on your door which can get annoying.
Parking has not been that bad as they have added several parking spots, and we can usually park right outside our apartment.
We personally, have not any bad experiences so far. The fitness room has always been cleaned and stocked with towels and working equipment, which is great because we work out everyday.
After signing the lease, we are happy that the staff is still friendly and helpful, which has not always been the case at other places.
As far as the issue of the gate. Yes at times it is open; but honestly, it has never seemed to be open all the time as one renter made it seem.
My husband and I want value for what we pay for and are happy with the services received here. If there is any issue you have with the community, letting the staff in the office know helps. After becoming concerned with a couple minor community issues, they took measures to keep us safe. We love our place. Oh, and upon moving in we received a small housewarming gift. We have never lived anywhere that has cared about their renters like that..it really makes you feel like you have your own home and not just a tenant in an apartment.

I have lived here since September 2009. Each time my 12 month lease is up, my new lease offer has been about $100 more. I have been an excellent tenant, I do not understand why my rent is going up. I will probably be moving out at the end of this lease.

The staff is very helpful and nice, the landscaping is beautiful they keep adding parking spaces, and are building a new parking lot as well, I love living here!!! Theres a washer and dryer in my apartment and the maintenance staff is so helpful and thorough, i can pay my rent online from anywhere and everything is so close to the mall, the stores, and the highway! great Location!

The property is right off a major freeway and easy to access. The landscape was well cared for. It was a very quiet property. There were eateries all around the community and there was the convenience of the mall. I really liked the size of the one bedroom. I was really surprised but pleased with the price for the apartment.

I only needed the apartment for about 4 months. The Marquis was very flexible on lease terms where many properties in the area were not. I was able to sign a 4 month +a few weeks lease with no problem at a reasonable rate. The apartment was in like new condition on move in and the grounds were always maintained. Parking spots are being added and new parking lots are being added constantly relieving any parking issues. Overall a great experience. Nothing is ever perfect, but it's the attitude of the staff and the sense of urgency to make things happen that make all the difference.

I would never, never, never recommend this complex to someone. I moved in because I was told someone recommended it to me, then later realized they were speaking of another complex.
