I'm a realtor I asked for my commission they never paid it. Also I made a slight mistake paying the first month online and they charged me $200 for wrong bank info yet the website said successful paid
As the new manager of The Marquis Downtown Lofts, I am concerned about your experience and would like to correct your concerns. We will reach out to you soon so we can take care of this. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The curb appeal for the property itself seems nice. The property did not have very much greenery at all in comparison to all of the brick of the building, but they did have some potted plants right in the front of the community. The amenities were in great condition. The apartment I saw was nice, but could use some more upgrades for the price.

Very close to downtown and all major freeways

This is the ideal community for the loft style living. It has great history, and the original safe is still in the lobby area. The windows to the old offices are there. It is amazing what the designers did with this old historical mattress company building.
It is very unique and a one of kind find. I'm so glad you enjoyed the building and the community.

The building is awesome. It is one of the few places where you can live in a historic building as a renter. Beyond that the property manager is unresponsive and can be difficult. Gates are often difficult to deal with, either not working or constantly open. If an unusual situation arises, no one knows how to respond. I am moving out because they were unable to resolve a maintenance issue in my unit after addressing it on several occasions.

I would not recommend due to the thin walls hearing your upstairs neighbors making love is not ideal for me or even hearing when they go to the bathroom.

I would recommend due to location and cost
I am very sorry to hear you are having noise issues in your loft. If it is something you would be interested in we could discuss an onsite transfer to a top floor location. I'm very happy to see you would still recommend us and am very happy to have you as part of our community.

All of the above sums up my overall experience. It is an excellent community for the most part and a place I often recommend.
We are so glad you are happy being part of our community and appreciate every recommendation! Thank you!

Thin Walls. Unfriendly Patrol

As of the aesthetic of the aprartment, hands down gorgeous. As of the living situation it becomes uncomfortable after a while. The walls are very thin, you can hear neighbors walking in and out of doors. Patrol is very inconsiderate, when it comes to the noise in the apartment. I would not suggest living in the town homes to anyone. It a very uncomfortable living situation.
I am very sorry to see you are having this issue. There is an option to transfer if you are interested. Please feel free to contact the office anytime to discuss the options we have available. Our number is 713-225-2115. Thank you.

What a great place to live downtown. It was not too pricy and yet not lacking any of the amenities that are so important. I enjoyed the historic loft apartment as well as the common areas. This location was perfectly convenient and not too much in the way.
I am so glad you loved the Marquis Downtown Houston Lofs. Hopefully you'll be part of our community very soon. Please give us a call if there is anything else we can do for you.

Unless they could not find anything else in the area I would recommend but would not be my first choice.

I recommend the community but always am realistic with the horrible parking situation for guests, they can get in through the main gate but we can never give them access to the garage or the building after that without physically meeting them outside, more entry key pads that we can give remote access to would be ideal. Also, another problem with parking is that we are not allowed to use parking along the fence, as it belongs to the town homes but they are always in the pool, taking up all of the chairs and tables. Cars are always waiting at the front gate to be let in by residents, and get upset when you wait behind them and don't use your FOG to let them in ahead of you. Also, there is no sense of community, no meet your neighbor events, or anything that would allow us to become familiar with the residents and be able to tell who actually belongs on property.

The leasing professionals were extremely nice, but I do not think the property was updated enough. I know it is a historic property, but the tubs, sinks, and toilets were old and stained. The location is not in the best area, and the price should be much lower.
Thank you for your feedback. We are working to update the community while keeping the historic feel. Maybe the tubs, sinks and toilets are something we can look at next.

Would not for the following:
1. Trash chute not convenient
2. Appliances are old an white
3. Carpet no longer allowed
Thank you for your feedback. I look forward to working with you and possibly upgrading your home and getting rid of your current appliances. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you in the meantime.
Actually, the fact that the trash chutes are inconvenient is a bonus: it's an excuse to get a few extra steps of exercise! And there are dumpsters in which to put the trash on the way to the garage, as well, so it really isn't a problem.

My apartment is convenient to my work location, period. I hate to move.

It's in a location that I would not recommend (See comments in item #2)

Every tenant here is "an apt number" and little else.

I occassinally pay my rent late and am not overly harrassed by management as I always pay all additional fees w/o complaint.
Thank you for giving your feedback and voicing your concerns. I would love to have a discussion with you to see how we can improve. Please give me a call at your convenience. My name is Jennifer and I can be reached at 713-225-2115. Thank you.
