Broken elevator, leaking roof, constant smells, paper-thin walls, dog poop in hallways, puke in bathroom my gym, and the list goes on ...

Parking situation is terrible. Elevator has been down for months. Every time I ask about the status, the "part" they need is a week away.

Based on my initial telephone conversation, I was turned off, so it was hard to be excited for the visit. The property was well kept, but a bit dated. Overall, I enjoyed my tour as it was pleasant.

The pricing was decent, I loved the historic look and the natural wood flooring. The leasing agent there was awesome.

The Marquis Lofts downtown were very well maintained and inviting. I felt at home upon arrival. It was a unique experience and I wish I was living there already. The leasing professional was very professional and the amenities were awesome. I cannot wait to sign the lease!

The safety and security concerns are worse than I anticipated. The architecture is cool and could make a nice apartment space for long-term living. Jason didn't put his best foot forward early on and the other time I interacted with him (after he had spoken with his boss) he overcompensated and appeared fake. My apartment smells like chemicals but I am not sure if it is natural to the loft experience; I thought it may a result of a fresh coat of paint, but it still smells strongly after a full week.

As a real customer I would lease there based on the location, the community environment, features/amenities, floor plans, staff and rental rates.

The community was really nice and seemed to cater to the downtown city life. Everything was clean and full of character. The gym was nice and had a lot of machines. I especially liked that the leasing agent said I would have access to the conference room and even the common areas of the clubhouse 24/7. The leasing agent was very friendly and she tried to help me stay within my budget.

Every location has it positives and negatives, great overall experience living here.

My perception of the community was pretty decent. I liked the very historic feel. They could offer more amenities, instead of just the fitness room for the price they were asking. The rental rates did not match the neighborhood.

I have told a lot of people about it. Everyone loves t com to my house for Movie night.

This is an older property that used to be a warehouse. No apartment is alike they are all different in some kind of way. The community has been kept in good condition. The apartments are older, but they do not feel older. The amenities of the property are very different.

I wouldn't wish that awful apt complex on anyone. I have had an awful experience at the Marquis Downtown Lofts.

My perceptions as a real customer considering leasing at Marquis Downtown Houston was as feeling of being well take care of. I felt like management would care about making sure that I was happy living there. My impression of the leasing professional was a very good one. I would definitely refer this community to others.
