It took me about 4 months to get my blinds replaced (they were messed up before I moved in). I had to call, visit the office in person, submit an online service request...multiple times and all over the duration of 4 months.
They refuse to do anything about a puppy being left unattended on my neighbors patio. I've had to call about 5 times thus far...nothing has changed to date. I've called 311. Nothing has changed to date.
If you like being ignored like the puppy on my neighbors patio, and yapping all night and day with nothing changing whatsoever, then sign a lease and live at The Marquis.
If having a beautiful building matters, but zero maintence, or issue resolution, then sign a lease with The Marquis.

The noise level of the neighbors. Walls are severly thin.

With the transition of property management, if it continues as it seems to be going, where it seems like things are not being taken care of like they have in the past, I don't know if I would recommend this community to my friends. Ask me again in a few months!

There is a lot to like here. I am amazed that some people go to apartment-shopping sites and say bad things about noise and police presence here. It's ridiculous. My apt is super quiet and my neighbors are nice and respectful of others.

Rent and add-on fees continue to increase despite no additional amenities being added. Pet rent started to become a thing even though it didn't exist when first moving in. (If you charge for pets monthly, you should charge a 'child' rent extra fee too, as they are infinitely more destructive). Overall community is great, apartments are beautiful, but the management is irresponsible and continuously impeding policies make it unlikely that I'd ever recommend it to anyone so long as they had to deal with management.

Parking is my biggest challenge here. The staff can be difficult to work with which is frustrating when I need something resolved-the few times I have needed anything, I usually have to end up elevating it to the property manager.

The parking is horrendous. Not a lot of activities to meet other residents.
