Rent and fees are inflated for the area.

The aforementioned issues with an unresponsive front office.

In the past two years, I have had two separate flooding issues where I had to have industrial fans in my apartment for days which is not only an extreme inconvenience, it also raised my electric bill. The office did absolutely nothing to help accommodate me or offer to pay the difference for the increased costs.

Due to these flooding issues and having to have had the carpet ripped up to be dried, you can imagine the carpet is in terrible shape. When I resigned my lease last year, one of the conditions that was agreed upon was if not a full replacement of my carpet, they would at least have it stretched so there are not nails poking out. That was almost a year ago and nothing has been done and there are still nails that peek through the ends of the carpet from where it was pulled up.

I would not recommend this community because of the limited parking and a lack of solution to that. It is extremely frustrating to be circling the parking lot to find a guest parking spot. At other complexes in the general vicinity do not have assigned parking for residents or guests but just open parking for all.
At The Marq at Brookhaven, we strive every day to exceed expectations. We understand that, like many communities in prime locations in Atlanta, there is a finite number of parking spaces available. We appreciate our residents who, through complying with the necessary rules, make parking work better for the community as a whole.

The community was centrally located, convenient to major roads, expressways, city happenings and business needs. The property was tucked back off the main highway, quiet and having many relaxing and attractive spots to enjoy the surroundings. The apartment homes had been very well maintained and nicely upgraded. The staff was polite, poised and professional and made me feel welcome.

Thank you for your feedback! Getting plugged into a swiftly transitioning neighborhood can be challenging. We love our location within Brookhaven, our proximity to I85, Buford Hwy and 400. We enjoy being just 2 miles from Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, less than 3 miles from Town Brookhaven and the Brookhaven MARTA Station, and we love being able to hop down to Emory University or Piedmont park with just a 4 mile drive. With the improvements being made along Buford Hwy we are excited to be in the neighborhood and we hope you are too!

I would recommend this apartment because of the wonderful location. It is close to several MARTA stations, malls, and restaurants. It is also close to I85. I would also recommend it because the staff is always professional and nice and the maintenance staff are prompt at responding to service requests. In addition, the apartments are nice and comfortable and they just renovated most of the apartments.

This complex doesn't live up to the expectations and the cost of rent is high for the way my apartment is. Needs updating... It feels like I'm just paying for location and not the comfortable feeling of my apartment. It's great they updated the gym and the pool but my apartment needs updates especially this carpet.

Terrible, just terrible. I would never recommend anyone to live here. Especially if this is the way business is carried out to residents who have been here longer than you have taken over the property.

I may recommend a 1 or 2 bedroom to someone without a dog, though the gate problems are very concerning considering the location.
