It was a unique community that was a very mature neighborhood but was beautifully renovated. The amenities were not as found in most communities as the beauty of the amenities lie in the fact that they were natural. The amenities consisted of a pool but also the lake, a boat/kayak storage for residents and a hike and bike trail that extended a great distance in both directions to highlighted areas of Austin. The leasing professional was professional yet friendly and conversational.

My perception as a potential resident was that the rental rate did not align with the apartment being offered. The location was nice, but I would gladly go down the street to a place with upgraded appliances and full sized washer and dryer connections. The only thing the community offered was location, and so did other newer and recently updated communities in that area.

The property located on the lake probably appealed to a certain customer that was looking for location, lake access and basic amenities. The property needed repairs and updating the entry, offices, pool area and landscaping. The leasing professional was a great agent with much potential, but seemed to need some additional training. Overall the property was outdated and does not posses that WOW factor for the amount of that was being charged. I would not live there and would probably not recommend.

Love my haven by the lake
I've been living in SoCo for eight months now and I only have good things to say! Melissa in Leasing has been so good to me from the leasing process to saying hello on the trails, and Wade and his team in maintenance have taken care of any requests in a timely manner. I love my NY loft style apartment with its arched openings separating the living area from the bedroom and bath AND the brick wall in my dining room is my favorite feature! I am only steps away from the hike and bike trail which makes living downtown adjacent very sweet!

I tell friends about this place, and they love my apartment when visiting. It's a matter of cost more than anything. A lot of folks these days cannot afford to live downtown.

I feel like I have privacy yet when I need a repair (rare) its handled quickly. Very little overhead and hassle. Once you set up auto-pay for rent its like you own the place and I never have to worry about it. Love the lake view. Did I say I love the lake view? It brings me joy on a daily basis as I sit on the couch and so work or school work and glance up over the lake while pondering great thoughts ;-) I also get to meditate staring out over the lake. Did I mention I love the lake view? ;-)
