Apartment Review from a Current Renter
Value seems low. Amenities are barely standard. Interiors/appliances/fixtures are unattractive. Cost of utilities is high. Outside environment in the complex is poor (trash issues). Management seems unable to effectively communicate changes to policy, and it seems like staff is constantly in flux making it hard to find consistency with personnel.
It is with regret you may have had an unpleasant experience while living at Marquis at Kingwood Apartment Homes. We have many residents who reside in our community that do enjoy living here and we continue to strive to offer our residents a pleasant lifestyle. CWS Apartment Homes LLC took over management in October of 2014 and although we have not responded to previous postings, you will find going forward we will respond to any and all testimonials. We do take all our residents comments extremely serious and we welcome you to contact our Management Office to give our team a chance to remedy the situation.

The community was in a great location. It was close to shopping and attractions as well as easy freeway access. It had a lot of trees and presented a comfortable feeling of home. The floor plans were great. The staff was also professional and friendly.

Lack of options for Internet access - Sight and Sound service is not reliable - Would've preferred Suddenlink, Cheap windows that sometimes sweat during the winter causing water to pool on the window sill.
Decent apartments
The only thing I don't really like is how trashy the dumpster gets down by the 800 building, it fills up so fast and just makes the place look dumpy. They also have a bug issue- I'm guessing because the complex is so old..but other than that, I like that it's hidden and quiet. It's a nice location. But we will be moving out after our lease ends because prices are definitely being jacked up due to all the renovations the new company is making.

The community had a fresh look and some really nice amenities; not to mention the bi-monthly events. They sounded like a ball of fun. I would highly recommend adding this community to your apartment search list.

New management is horrible. You pay for no amenities. Workout room very small.
We are sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations. CWS acquired the community on October 21, 2014. We recently added a spin bike room and purchased new fitness center equipment.

The internet service, the outdated kitchens, dumpster issues and parking space are just a few reasons we will not recommend this property.

It seems the agreements the property has with outside vendors (cable, internet etc...) is not in the best interest of all the residents. The vendors are unreliable and incredibly non- cot efficient. It would be nice to reconsider some of those arrangements.
We are currently researching cable and internet issues.

I love the complex and think it is a great place to live. Depending on which friends ask, I would wholeheartedly recommend the living experience here. There are, however, some other complexes that are a better value for the amount of space, and this would be more important to some of my acquaintances.
It is a great place to call home and the perfect location.

The only thing I don't like is that we are forced to use Sight and Sound for TV. Everything else is great!

Internet connection is a only trouble. As there are only tow service provider in an apartment. The internet service provider has a poor and unreliable service.
