The leasing professional did an awesome job in his sales pitch. However, I was not too thrilled with the sizing of the apartment, as there was not enough space in the closets in both rooms. The space and price was not matching for me. However, the layout of the apartment was pretty interesting. I liked that each bedroom had its own private balcony.

Too much money for some services that are not up to standard.

Its like any other apartment community, nothing special or unique.

I just want to take some time to express my appreciation for the management team at Marques on Westhiemer. My family and I have been living there for the past 5 years. Not only is our unit nicely equipped but management provides a well maintained community. The complex is located close to two major business and shopping centers including the Galleria and Westchace and also has a committed management team who always responds to our needs in an immediate and very friendly manner.

We see at least one or two security incidents reported in the property every month. If security can beef up and property management take necessary actions to bring down these kind of incidents then i would consider recommending apartment community to my friends

This apartment community was located on a busy street with a lot of heavy traffic. The apartment community was okay, but not in a good location.

The rental rate is very expensive for the square footage. Office staff are not the friendliest staff I have ever encountered, but they get the job done.

The agent onsite sold me on the property. There are four or five other properties in the immediate area that are exactly the same as this one. Solely because of the agents efforts I would be very happy to call this community home.

Since renting here at the Marquis, I've been so pleasantly surprised by this complex! It is the best complex I've rented from in a very long time. And as a 52 year old single man who's lived in apartments must of his life, that's saying a lot!

The apartment is roomy and has all the features I wanted, including wood floors! The interesting thing to me was if I wanted a particular floor plan and they didn't have the one I wanted with the wood, they had it put in for me! Most complexes didn't want to do that. And that even meant a 2nd floor apartment!

The staff has been great! There was a small issue with timing when I moved in, but they made up for it in other ways. The maintenance had, so far, been great! You fill out requests on line and they get there within 24 hours!

One of the big plusses of this complex is the fact the water is sub metered so you only pay for what YOU use! Most places use a shared method, which is legal, but just not right! I live alone, so for me to share the water expense of a family of 4, or some stupid so-and-so that wastes water is just crazy!

Also a nice change for me is that the a.c. in the apartments are sized correctly! Many complexes install bare minimum units in order to save money. The problem is the units have to run a lot to cool the apartment off and it winds up costing the tenant more utility bills. That is not the case here!

The grounds are kept up very nicely, very nice landscaping! If I had to list a "wish" I'd say it would be to have a guard at the gate. I've not seen an issue, but generally speaking, "control access gates"don't really control much at all. But that's a common thing with many places. At least here, residents have a remote to open the gates instead of a card or code that never changes and everyone knows!

And to put this out there now NO,I am not an employee of the complex! Just a very satisfied tenant!

This is a great property in the galleria area. There are hardwood floors available on all floors. The community is simple, but with pristine amenities and great floor plans.

I really love the apartment here. I have the 2bed/ 2bath, and I love the wooden floors and high ceilings. Great location to all of the hot spots in Houston.

I love the full grown trees, birds, shade and the balcony space (one for each bedroom!) I enjoy breakfast on the patio on the weekends next to my garden. Very nice pool and bbq grills.

Staff are excellent. Usually they respond faster through email or meet them at the office. Don't be afraid to say hello to the lovely staff and grab some cookies and coffee while you wait.

I'm going to really miss this place.

I really enjoyed living at Marquis on Westheimer. For the most part, I rarely heard noises coming from my neighbors. The staff was always helpful to me.

I love apartment for its location and I love that my apartment has high ceilings and wooden floors. Very big plus for me. But downside though it is very expensive place to live in.
