Overall, very hapyp with community. The elevator in Building 1 to 5th floor can be frustrating (doors slow to open and close, slow between floors, automatic/default stop on P2 always.) The fire alarms have almost driven me to move. Have improved and/or worked out that electrical problem within last year. Otherwise, very nice community.

I am happy with the community. My issue is with the rent. I wish that we had some type of rent control. I believe rent shouldn't go up much. New residents get move-in specials, and current residents have to pay more each time lease is renewed. I don't believe that's fair and would like for that to change.

If there's anyway that valet trash could be ellective, that would be great. Since that has been implemented, I have paid a $20 fee each month but have never used it. The trash door is right around the corner and I carry it there once a week. I undestand that this is a service and that "everyone is doing it," but that fee with the yearly increase in rent is terrible and makes The Alexander less affordable for me.

Pet management (residents being responsible) is below average/fair. Residents don't clean up after pets, and cleanliness enforcement could be improved. Concierge trash service is okay. However, residents leaving trash outside doors and in unapproved containers is an issue. Carpet is being stained. Need more policy enforcement. Residents are not respecting the rules in the fitness center and are taking in kids. Overall, community is quiet and mostly peaceful. Group fitness services are good, they promote health and trea people with kindness and professionalism.

Office staff is excellent! An electric car charger for cars would be great. It would also be great if you could maintain the grills by the pool a little more (not just the gas.) Everything else is excellent! A rowing machine at the gym would be great, too!

Rules on pets need to be better enforced, their barking and messes in the elevator and other areas can be bad. Also, better enforcement of noise issues. Be sure handicapped spots are used as they should be.

She will immediately go to the apartment and take care of the problem for you. Also, if you ever see a pet mess please contact the office so we can send our of our housekeepers to clean it. Handicap spaces are being monitor by the police department and should receive tickets for parking illegally. If you have additional concerns, please come see me in the office.

Great community/management/maintenance. The only part I could be critical about is the elevators. Very slow. Other than that, it is really great living here.

Comfortable place to live, solid customer service, and great location. Not happy about continuous price increases, new exterior paint odor, dark parking deck/not enough lighting, and mandatory/expensive valet trash.

We walk around the parking deck constantly but we do miss an occasional light. Valet waste is a requirement for all residents at the community but please keep in mind, most communities charge a trash fee and do not offer any services. Property well maintained. Maintenance issues addressed promptly. Need more reminders for people to keep dogs on leashes.

The maximum lease period should be available for more than 4 years. Proper staff management so that a staff member isn't overloaded with work and does not take their frustration out on residents. We had a bad experience with this last year and the manager was not able to handle our complaint well.

The common areas between each apartment should be cleaned regularly and after the gardeners have left. Pollen buildup and dust accumulate outside each door. Summer brings mosquitos, and the location of the complex has surrounding, standing water, which makes it difficult and uncomfortable to be outside. Spraying insecticide around complex would make living here more enjoyable.
