I think that it is an alright community as far as apartments go, but I know that there are communities that are just as safe, with larger units and cost less in the area. I would recommend my friends or family to go a different direction.

The price is too high. The lack of care for the grounds is a problem. There is too much trash, most prominently the green doggy poo bags that residents throw into the trees and surrounding area. They are neon green and are easily seen. In addition, there are papers, wrappers, broken toys, etc. scattered everywhere. It is unsightly, and I am paying extra for the pond view.

The club house was very clean, had many nice features and was very well maintained. The colors were great. The furniture was very nice and in excellent condition. The apartments were very clean and excellently painted. The carpet looked new and the counter tops and bathrooms were in great shape.

The only reason I would recommend Arbor Pointe is that the good outweighs the bad when it comes to location and safety- there is almost no crime here that I'm aware of and it's a fairly quiet place to live.

The apartment is not worth the rent. With the money paid to live here there are better residences in Ann Arbor proper right in down town rather than living on the Ypsilanti/Pittsfield border.
