It was a relatively new community. It had easy access to major highways and a lot of stores, restaurants and bars. The apartment was large and had a lot of windows. All the angled walls in the apartment gave the apartment character.

In some ways living here has been great but there are a lot of things we would love to change. There is dog poop EVERYWHERE. There are neighbors with aggressive dogs who do not follow rules. Neighbors blast music and park in handicapped spots. People do not treat their surroundings with respect.

I would recommend this community based on location and amenities - I love all that Marquis offers and I love being so close to shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment. I do not think I would 'not recommend' Marquis, but I would not actively push and encourage people to put Marquis at the top of their list.

I would, with one caveat. It is advertised as a gated community and yet on more than one occasion, one or more of the gates is open and goes unfixed for days. The same is true for the workout room. The TVs haven't functioned for a couple of months. I noticed a new xfinity remote but no xfinity box connected to the TV. What's up with that?

Peaceful and comfortable complex to live in. Well managed and personnel are friendly and helpful. Very quiet.
