Overpriced and noisy. Policy changes are not nearly as pet friendly as when we moved in.

My biggest complaint is the price for the garbage, it literally is over half of the utilities bill, and I don't even ever put out my garbage for them to pick-up.
I've only ever filed 2 maintenance requests, and both were dealt with in a reasonable amount of time which I was very happy about.

I live here because I have pets, and would not recommend Solara to someone with dog allergies.

There have been some nit-picking type issues that make it frustrating to enjoy your environment; pricing is pretty high for not being in the downtown area; lots of homeless people that linger outside the complex and are often times extremely loud, causing disruptions. No insulation, making those above you extremely loud when walking around.
Early lease termination is at least triple the rent, if not more- I have never heard of that and makes you feel completely stuck in the complex if safety issues continue rise-- such as neighbor disturbances at extremely early hours, which sounds like a reoccurring issue.

The only thing I can recommend is the location, which put me dead center from both my work and friends. But I think I would tell others to look around.

I love many things about the apartment, the location and the building but there are definite frustrations. I'm not sure whether those also occur at other places. I would be honest with giving a mixed review to friends.

I wouldn't recommend it strongly because my neighbor has a big dog and always when I go to college in the morning and when I come back at 5:00 PM, the dog all the time barking at the door and this scared me a lot

Good price point in a very good location that is fairly easy to navigate to/from around Seattle. Friendly front office, great amenities, and right next to Fred Meyer.

It had a bar right in the retail area of the building. That made the pub crawl very short.
