The size of the apartment for the price was surprising. A very good value for the money. It would be nice if the kitchen cabinets and appliances were updated.

I found the Marquis at Clear Lake to be a pretty decent apartment community. It seemed there was a genuine interest in keeping it as clean and as comfortable as it could be for the residents. The leasing agent was friendly and courteous. He was genuinely interested in having me lease there.

The community was attractive and had updated features. The leasing agent was personable and she seemed knowledgeable about the leasing process. I felt I received a good, comprehensive overview of the community.

I felt like for the price there should have been granite in the apartment. Especially in the area and price point. The rest of the finishes were expected. That is the reason I would not have leased, because I know I could have found something similar with better apartment features.

Rent is over priced. Bug problem is horrendous. Residents don't pick up after their pets, nor does management enforce this rule. Breezeways are rarely cleaned or swept/blown. Not enough parking in some areas. Snake problem in the rear of the complex.

Breezeways are cleaned on a regular basis, unfortunately some areas need more attention than others. I will be more than happy to schedule our service team to give your building extra care.
I have not heard of a snake problem and I thank you for bringing this to my direct attention. There is a vacant plot of land behind us, so with the rain we have had this might have caused snakes to come on to our community. I will inform our landscaping company and we will begin to address this concern immediately.

The property was in a good location. It was close to the Beltway and Interstate 45 as well as restaurants and attractions. The amenities and floor plans were appealing.

If the summer pool music blasting problem were solved, I would recommend this property to ANYONE. That noise is just so disruptive and forces me to listen to music that I don't care for that it is definitely a negative selling point in my opinion.
